the array, we must find the core, which also called the life gate. Breaking the phalanx that hosts the life
gate will destroy the array," Rocky answered.

"So you're saying that one of these eight phalanxes holds the life gate?" Eunice asked, looking at the
armies all around her.

"Yes. You get it!" Rocky nodded.

"That's easy. We can just break the eight phalanxes one by one, right?" Kye said. A confused
expression covered his face.

"If it were that easy, it wouldn't be called the mysterious military array. The life gate can change as the
phalanxes move. So that means that the life gate may be in the phalanx in front of you now, but in a
second, it will be located in another phalanx," Rocky explained, shaking his head plainly.

"That sounds like a challenge!" Maxwell exclaimed.

"Yes. That is why I need your cooperation." Rocky's eyes narrowed slightly. The task of finding the life
gate while battling back the eight phalanxes would make it difficult for him to lead the army. So he had
to ask Eunice and the other two to guide the operation of the three armies for him.

"Maxwell, you are the leader of the Shield Army. Eunice, you are the leader of the Changing Army, and
Kye, you are the leader of the Swimming Army. You all must follow every order I give flawlessly. No
matter what happens, you are not allowed to act without authorization. Otherwise, we won't be able to
break the array," Rocky said, wearing a serious expression on his face.

The three of them nodded.



Meanwhile, Isabel was staring at the spot where the human race's army had entered the array with

Changing Army.

Then, he ordered the Changing Army to attack the Thunder Phalanx under the cover of the Shield
Army. Because the Water Phalanx was a defensive force and it did not have strong attacking skill, the
Shield Army was skilled enough to take it out.

And now that the Changing Army was being defended and could attack its enemies, it had the

swamp and seemed to be unable to extricate themselves.

When Rocky saw that the Changing Army was sandwiched between the Valley Phalanx and the Water
Phalanx, he wasn't bothered at all. Instead, he smiled, because the first division of the Mysterious
Dragon Gateway Array had been exposed.

Rocky spun around and asked Eunice to lead the Swimming Army into the area that was currently
occupied by the Water Phalanx.

"Damn it! He figured it out!" Isabel had thought it would take Rocky a lot longer to discover the method
that would break the Mysterious Dragon Gateway Array. In a panic, she asked the Heaven Phalanx
and the Mountain Phalanx to intercept the Swimming Army.
