When the demoness saw that Rocky had obtained the Purgatorial Tripod, she quickly chased after him.

"Hand over the tripod to me! I know you have it!" the demoness exclaimed in a demanding tone. Her
chest was throbbing hard and her eyes were burning. After all, she could not afford to fail her mission.

"Then, why don't you catch me? If you can, maybe I'll give it to you!" Rocky teased with a grin. Turning
his back on the demoness, his figure disappeared in a flash.

"What the hell? Did his strength just increase again?!" The demoness' jaw almost dropped, surprised at
what she just saw.

The next moment, Rocky landed before Layla and her team.

"Your Royal Highness, the entire Demon Sealing Palace is about to collapse. We have to get out of
here first," Rocky informed the princess at once.

"It seems that we already have what we came here for. All right. Let's retreat!" Layla immediately
ordered.

At the same time, Zain also cast a glance at Rocky and ordered his men to get out of the palace.

Since they were all aware that Rocky successfully acquired the Purgatorial Tripod, it would be
meaningless to fight with Enoch's men and stay there.

Not long after, both the teams led by Layla and Zain got out of the crumbling palace.

Rocky and forcefully take the tripod, Enoch and his men would definitely take the chance to strike him
from behind.

"Why don't you just give it up, Zain? Both of us know that you cannot do anything at this point anyway.
Get out of here with your men, and you will be spared," Enoch said with a smug face. If anyone had the
ability to take the Purgatorial Tripod away from Rocky, it would be the demoness, who happened to be

out Zain's bubble.

since his team was the first one to use the teleportation point.

can leave this place," the demoness sneered.

"I see. Then, it seems that we should learn to survive in this land," Rocky said in a sarcastic tone.

Layla and Valeria could just roll their eyes at Rocky. They could not believe that he was still in the mood
to crack a joke at such a critical moment.

"Well, as long as you hand the Purgatorial Tripod over to me, I can tell you the way to leave this place,"
the demoness suddenly proposed with a cunning smile. From her tone, she was assuming that she had
already emerged victorious.

"I will have to decline that offer since you are actually not the only one who knows how to leave the
Ghostly Demon Land without using the teleportation point. Therefore, even if you don't tell me, we will
be just fine on our own." Rocky deliberately waited for the demoness to show her hand just so he could
spite her.

"You really are trying to make me kill you, aren't you?" Of course, the demoness was not amused at
how Rocky was toying with her.



"The real question here is if you can still do that. Your body is already close to its limit, so we both know
that it won't be easy for you to kill me. You can threaten me all you want, but you should back it up with
actions." At this point, Rocky clearly knew that the demoness did not have the strength to take him
down. After all, if she did, she would have already done it much earlier. If she was not taking action

answered firmly and seriously.



They had already seen that determined look in Rocky's eyes before, and he had always come through.
Hence, Layla and Valeria exchanged looks and could not help but agree. They knew that if Rocky said
that it was for the best, then they just had to put their faith in him.

"Rubygon!" Immediately after, Rocky summoned Rubygon in their midst.

As soon as Rubygon appeared, he whispered a few words to it. After listening to Rocky's instructions,
the beast let out a low roar in response.

"Go with Rubygon. It will take you to a safe spot," Rocky said to Layla and Valeria.

Layla just nodded and instantly raised her hand to signal her men. Soon enough, the remaining
warriors under her team gathered around Rubygon.

"Let's set out!" As Layla gave the order, her entire team immediately left under Rubygon's protection.

"Madam, are we not going to chase after them?" Enoch asked the demoness the moment Layla and
her team escaped from the scene.

"There is no need for that. We don't have to waste our energy on something trivial. This man has the
Purgatorial Tripod, and that is what we are after," the demoness replied. At this time, she did not care
about anyone else. Her time was already very limited, so she could just focus on her primary target.

On the other hand, upon seeing that Layla's team had retreated without Rocky, Zain immediately sent
his men to track them. He assumed that Rocky might have been planning to escape the demoness and
Enoch, and the young man should definitely meet up with Layla's group later. With this, he could still
track the whereabouts of the tripod.
