Chapter 1608 Oblivious To The Art Of War

"Me? I don't know any military tactics. Forget it!" Although Eunice wanted to lead the army to battle,
she knew it wouldn't be as simple as she thought despite her experience on the battlefield.

"You don't need to use the mysterious military arrays. You just need to lead the army and take the
initiative to attack!" Rocky explained. He had a vague feeling that the spiritual race's army had found
out that he was using the mysterious military arrays to resist theirs. If he reused the same ones, they
would surely have counterstrategies in place to deal with them. It would be akin to throwing the army
into a fire.

"I see! Got it!" Eunice was relieved upon hearing this.

"Kye. Maxwell. You two will assist Eunice. Focus on slaughtering the spiritual race army's deputy
commander this time..." Rocky ordered them both.

"Yes, sir." The duo nodded in unison.

"Basil, Eunice has yet to lead an army on her own. Shall we ask other deputy commanders to assist
her?" a concerned Tucker asked.

"That won't be necessary. Don't underestimate Spiritual King Eunice. She's a disciple of the Di Clan!"
Rocky answered with a smile.

"Oh yes, I nearly forgot!" Hearing this, Tucker remembered that Eunice was from the Di Clan. She was
likely born to be a general.

"I'm leaving. Wait for me to return with good news!" Eunice exclaimed with a confident smile.

Then, accompanied by Kye and Maxwell, Eunice led a troop of five thousand soldiers out of the valley
towards battle.



The two armies collided outside the Heavenly Rain Valley once more. This time, the mysterious military
arrays the spiritual race army set up were different from the ones they previously used. They aimed to
neither attack or defend, their position quite a peculiar one this time. It was shaped like a cracked
mouth, with Deputy Commander Tu mounted on his horse in its center. Both his hands held a flag, one
black and one white.

"Kill!" Eunice ordered and led the attack, as Rocky instructed her to.

Within the next moment, Eunice took the lead and headed all the soldiers straight towards the spiritual
race army's strange formation.

"Split up!" Deputy Commander Tu was surprised that the human army had decided to attack so early
on. He quickly raised the black flag he held in his left hand.

The front of the formation, which was originally shaped like a cracked mouth, quickly separated in two
to form a huge gap as if waiting for the human race army to enter the entrance to its gaping jaws.

But Eunice didn't hesitate and headed straight into the gap along with the army she led.

It wasn't long before she met Deputy Commander Tu face-to-face.

"Unite!" He raised the white flag this time which signaled the soldiers to fill the gap where Eunice and
her army entered the valley.

In the blink of an eye, Eunice and the army found themselves surrounded by the spiritual race's army.

"Such a beauty dares to head straight into the heart of our formation! Don't blame me for being brusque
with you later!" Deputy Commander Tu commented with a suggestive smile plastered across his face
as he saw the alluring woman leading the human army towards them.

"Shut up and fight me if you dare!" Eunice snorted to provoke him.



"What an ill-tempered girl! While I like you, I'll control myself. Your human army scum is useless and
worthless anyway," he responded disdainfully.

"Oh?" A coldness as frigid as ice passed over Eunice's eyes. Anyone who underestimated her would
pay a hefty price.

She called on Kye and Maxwell. "Kye! Maxwell! Cover me!" They immediately led the army in front of
her and rushed forward towards Deputy Commander Tu who was surrounded heavily by his troops.

What formation is this?" Deputy Commander Tu was surprised to see the human spirit warriors swiftly
gather and rush towards them, yet other soldiers remained still.

The Neutralizing Array was specifically designed for the mysterious military arrays. Activating this
particular array would cause its enemies' mysterious military arrays invalid or even backfired. However,
the power of any other arrays within the Neutralizing Array wouldn't be affected at all.

Although he couldn't help but feel bothered by a strange feeling within him, he still used the two flags
he held to push through with the Neutralizing Array. This would seal any of the mysterious military
arrays that the human army had planned.

But not long after his senses warned him that something was amiss and after the Neutralizing Array
was activated, the human race army remained unaffected. They remained as stagnant as the surface
of an undisturbed puddle.

This meant the Neutralizing Array was useless.

Meanwhile, Eunice headed straight for Deputy Commander Tu under the guard of Kye, Maxwell, and
the other spirit warriors.

"Are they not using any of the mysterious military arrays?" he finally realized.



By that time, however, Eunice had finally come face-to-face with the commander.

"I presume you wish to teach me a lesson, beauty?" He seemed unaware of the fact that her power
surpassed his, which would explain his conceitedness.

"Yes. I'd love to!" Eunice retorted with a forced yet seductive smile which grabbed the attention of all
the spiritual race's soldiers present.

Although it was known to all that the women of the spiritual race weren't ugly, most of them were strong
and wild. They weren't as charming as any of the human race's women at all. But because of her
beauty being acknowledged even before then, she proved to be more pleasing on the eyes to the men
of the spiritual race.

"The pleasure is all mine." He couldn't help but swallow. 'I must capture this magnificent beauty and
make her my concubine, ' he thought deviously.

Meanwhile, Eunice nodded toward Kye and Maxwell once she confirmed that the commander had
taken the bait.

The duo immediately dispersed with the other spirit warriors and formed around Eunice and the deputy
commander, leaving them in the center. The spirit warriors didn't let any soldiers get to Eunice and the
commander, giving her the perfect opportunity to kill him.

But the commander didn't care about that. All he was focused on was the dazzling beauty that was in
front of him.

"I'm coming, gorgeous!" His spiritual power burst from within him before he dashed towards Eunice as
quick as lightning. He seemed to be gifted with speed.



He nearly reached Eunice in a blink of an eye. He then activated his spiritual skill by shouting,
"Shadow-split Skill!"

Instantly, his figure morphed into four menacing shadows and attacked Eunice from all four directions
at once. The force of the blow he dealt was equal to that of a Spiritual Infant at the premium stage.

Boom!

The spiritual power ascended and Eunice found herself completely enveloped in a thick, suffocating
cloud of dust.

"Spiritual King Eunice!" Kye and Maxwell were deeply worried. They didn't expect the deputy
commander of the spiritual race to be this powerful.
