Chapter 1655 The Door Was Opened

As soon as he received Rocky's call, Harlan wasted no time and led his Legion of Beasts to their aid.

Seeing them arrive, the human race cheered in joy. They marched with a newfound sense of hope as
they slowly made their way forward.

Now that Glutton had also arrived in time and controlled Jonathan, it prompted Alyssa and Colton to
stand their ground and guard Rocky.

However, as his comrades rallied to his side, Rocky was facing a harrowing task of his own. Every fiber
of his being screamed in agony as the Star Beast Ring consumed too much power, draining him of
every last drop of his strength.

But he knew he had to capture this once in a lifetime opportunity. So he opened up the Magic Spiritual
Space quickly.

"Martial spirits, come out!" The air around him suddenly turned chilly as the martial spirits burst out of
the opening and swarmed around him.

"Lend me all your strength!" Rocky shouted high into the sky and ordered them as if he was their king.

Then, those martial spirits bowed their heads towards him and summoned their own power, which all
rushed towards Rocky.

In an instant, he felt as if his body was rejuvenated. He could feel his strength multiplying by tenfold,
enough to open the door towards the alien world.

Jonathan was stunned upon seeing this. It never occurred to him that Rocky would have the strength to
open the path towards the alien world. Once the door was opened, it would give Rocky and his
comrades a chance to escape.



As long as he was alive, he would never let them escape from this world!

Thinking of this, Jonathan took a deep breath and mustered all of his power. His eyes suddenly turned
bloodshot red while every muscle in his body grew in size, tearing his skin in the process.

This skill called demonization was unique only to the Shura Race.

Once demonized, he would gain an exponential increase in power. But this powerful technique would
also make him more susceptible to damage.

But for the Shura Race, no one had ever stopped them once they entered this state.

After transforming, Jonathan took advantage of his opponent's negligence and caught Glutton off
guard. He dashed towards Rocky who was standing in front of the door towards the alien world.

Seeing this, Glutton scrambled to catch up to him.

But it was already a step too slow. In the blink of an eye, Jonathan was already behind Rocky. With a
wave of Jonathan's hand, an ominous red light instantly shrouded Rocky and engulfed him.

Although Rocky knew that Jonathan was attacking him, there was nothing much he could do to resist.

Bang!

As soon as the light touched him, it violently exploded, causing red sparks to shoot out in every
direction.

Such an attack would easily destroy an ordinary human.

However, Rocky was anything but. Under the protection of his Magic Icy Armor, he was able to
narrowly escape the devastating blow.



Jonathan threw a fit of rage when he saw him escape death. He was ready to unleash another powerful
attack, but Glutton arrived in time to stop him.

Meanwhile, Marcia had successfully led the army forward with the help of Harlan and the Legion of
Beasts. They forcefully carved a path straight towards the door to the alien world.

As soon as they arrived, the door was already on the brink of opening.

"Alyssa, go and find Marcia. Enter the alien world as soon as the door opens!" Rocky shouted at
Alyssa.

"What about you?" Alyssa shot a concerned look at Rocky.

"I have to stay here and make sure the door's stable enough to let you all pass. If I don't, you won't
have enough time to make it through the other side," Rocky said seriously.

Seeing the resolve on his face, Alyssa nodded and rushed towards Marcia and the others.

The two quickly rallied the army and marched towards the door.

Jonathan didn't expect that Harlan and the Legion of Beasts would come to their aid. On top of this,
Glutton was keeping him from attacking Rocky. He felt as if his plan was crumbling right before his very
eyes.

He knew he couldn't just stand by and watch them escaping one by one. Fortunately for him, he
planned for this moment. Jonathan took out a black crystal from his pocket and chanted a mysterious
incantation.

The black crystal suddenly exploded into a black mist which spread throughout the battlefield.



It only took a few moments for the mist to spread everywhere. As soon as it came in contact with the
humans, their skin would turn as black as coal as they grew weaker and weaker. They would suffocate
and go into convulsions.

"What kind of magic is this?" Marcia frowned as she saw her comrades fell one by one. Fortunately for
her, she was strong enough to resist the spell.

"This is the black spell! The only way to break this is to kill the one who cast the magic!" Alyssa said in
shock.

"Even if all of us attack him at the same time, I'm afraid we won't win!" They knew that they were not
strong enough to defeat Jonathan on a head-on battle.

"But how will we know if we don't give it a try? What's more, we still have Glutton, don't we?" Alyssa
answered back with determination in her voice.

"We can't just stand by while our comrades die off one by one! Let's fight him!" Alyssa's voice sparked
a fire inside Marcia's heart.

The next moment, the two women rushed to Jonathan and joined the battle.

Meanwhile, Rocky was speechless upon seeing most of the humans cursed and on the brink of death.
A feeling of helplessness began to swell up in him.

But he knew he couldn't afford to be distracted. If he let the door close, many more others would die.

Although Alyssa, Marcia and Glutton worked together to distract Jonathan, most of the guards had
already lost their power because of the influence of the black spell.



On the other hand, the members of the Shura Race grew even stronger as their thirst for blood reached
its peak.

If it weren't for Harlan's Legion of Beasts, the guards would have already been slaughtered.

But no matter how strong the beasts were, they still couldn't fight back the cruel and sadistic Shura
Race. In a short while, the Legion of Beasts was reduced by more than half, causing the inevitable
demise of some of the guards.

Right when the guards were about to be wiped out, Rocky finally opened the door of the alien world. At
the center, he saw a chaotic vortex that flashed blinding lights and rotated violently.

As soon as he opened the door, he rushed to the guards' side to support Sabina, Shirley and other
elites of the Holy Dragon Empire.

"Shirley, Sabina, you two take the others through the door to the alien world now," Rocky ordered.

Without question, they immediately nodded and did as they were told.

"Harlan, cover them while they go through the door!" He then immediately shouted at Harlan.

Harlan raised its head and let out a deafening roar upon hearing this. The beast whipped up a volley of
violent winds which he sent crashing down towards the Shura Race.

Under the cover of Harlan and the Legion of Beasts, Shirley and Sabina, together with the elites of the
Holy Dragon Empire had a clear path towards the door to the alien world.
