Chapter 1588 A Little Surprise

"I hate arrogant brats like you the most! How are you going to do that with just three thousand soldiers?
Your confidence is baseless!" Stuart retorted as he got infuriated by Rocky's taunts.

"Well, don't say I didn't warn you," Rocky replied with a defiant sneer.

"Go and kill them all! I don't have time to play with pathetic losers!" Stuart commanded firmly.

With this, the vanguard troops of the spiritual race shouted at the same time and charged with high
morale.



"Listen! If you want to defeat them, follow me! There is no retreating in this army, is that understood?"
Rocky roared in a clear and uplifting voice.

"Yes, sir!" The soldiers shouted in unison and revealed a determined expression on their faces.

"Now! Attack!" Rocky unsheathed his Mystical Dragon Sword and shouted at the top of his lungs as he
stood in front of the Swimming Army. As they charged towards the troops of the spiritual race, he
personally led them and rushed forth without any hint of fear.

At the same time, he chanted a skill that was suitable for their current formation. Immediately after, the
entire army was enveloped by a water shield. When they clashed against the enemy, they were not
hurt by any weapons within a short time.

Under Rocky's leadership, the Swimming Army charged back and forth through the formation of the
spiritual race army with unstoppable momentum. With the protection of the water shield, they fearlessly
went all out and took down over a thousand soldiers within five minutes.

As Stuart commanded from the rear side of his army, he failed to notice the increasing loss of his
vanguard troops in time.

Consequently, an hour later, the casualties of the spiritual race army had already reached three
thousand.

right away.

Upon seeing that the spiritual race army had started to retreat, the warriors guarding the Tiger Whisker
Pass cheered loudly. They did not expect that they could easily win such a crucial battle. Moreover,
they were able to deal a huge blow upon the enemy army.

However, Rocky didn't feel very happy about the outcome. He knew that they were just able to defeat
their enemies because they had underestimated their abilities. Once they came back and took serious



actions, they might still be in trouble.

After the battle, Rocky led the army back to the city and immediately ordered someone to count the
exact number of casualties.

Upon counting, it was reported that only a hundred soldiers from the Swimming Army were killed and
about three hundred were injured. This was considered a great win because it was much lesser than
the losses of the spiritual race army.

"Basil, well done! Thanks to your heroic deeds, it seems that we have successfully defended the Tiger
Whisker Pass!" Tucker said excitedly the moment he saw Basil.

"Well, it's still too early to celebrate. I'm sure that there are more talented soldiers in the spiritual race,
and we should assume that the next battle would not be that easy. For now, please ask all the soldiers
to take their time to rest and replenish their strength. We need them at their best condition once the
next battle came." After saying that, Rocky hurriedly left.

"Commander Wang, has Basil ever led a huge number of soldiers into battle before?" Deputy
Commander Ma, who had just treated his wounds, asked Tucker as he stared at Rocky's receding
figure.
