Chapter 1599 Entering The Tiger Whisker Pass

After conversing with Tucker, Rocky quickly developed a strategy and began to assemble the troops to
the best of his abilities.

Two hours later, the city walls of the Tiger Whisker Pass could no longer hold off its enemies. The
soldiers of the spiritual race swiftly rushed towards the city walls like a tide about to crash on the sandy
shore. Before long, they would completely occupy the city walls. The city gates would open once the
walls were gone, and numerous soldiers of the spiritual race would come rushing in.

“Commander Wang, let’s begin!” Realizing the time had come, Rocky nodded towards Tucker.

“Soldiers! Leave the city walls and blow up the rocks on both sides,” Tucker ordered after hearing
Rocky.

Soon, the generals and soldiers of the Tiger Whisker Pass stationed by the city walls retreated as fast
as they could. Meanwhile, the soldiers who had just finished planting the explosives into the walls just
started to ignite the fuses.

Once the humans retreated from the city walls, the generals and soldiers of the spiritual race cheered
loudly.

“Open the city gates now!” a commander of the spiritual race screamed.

The gates within the city walls soon opened and several spiritual race soldiers rushed in with the
intention of storming the city.

At that moment, the rocks on the left city wall suddenly burst into the sky. Then, numerous stones came
crashing down and smashed into the city wall where the spiritual race soldiers were located.

They were completely caught off guard and wanted to get out of the city as quickly as possible.
However, the remaining spiritual race soldiers who were still outside the walls were unaware of what



happened and continued to rush into the city. Thousands of spiritual race soldiers ended up blocked
within and outside of the city walls.

Boom!

It wasn’t long before the rocks on the right city wall exploded into the air too. A large number of stones
fell down like a heavy rain and smashed many of the spiritual race soldiers below to death.

By then, both of the city walls began to collapse. Around three to four thousand spiritual race soldiers
were injured and killed in less than five minutes. The number continued to rise.

Phelps, who stayed behind with the rest of the spiritual race army, witnessed the walls and stones that
held up the Tiger Whisker Pass topple and massacre all the soldiers that were in its path. He trembled
in anger. He never expected the human army to smash the city walls to defend the Tiger Whisker Pass.
They clearly intended on cutting off all means of retreat and fighting to the death.

“The city-attacking forces should retreat first!” Phelps ordered.

Soon after receiving the order, the soldiers quickly retreated from the city walls of the Tiger Whisker
Pass which were steadily turning into a heap of ruins as the large number of rocks began to pile up.
The height of the heap was twice as high as before that it eventually became a huge stone wall that
blocked the Tiger Whisker Pass.

Tucker breathed a sigh of relief at the success of Rocky’s plan. However, they had an even more
critical challenge to face next. Because the city walls were no longer up, that left them exposed and
defenseless. Once the spiritual race army broke through and entered the pass, there was nothing left
but a desperate battle to face.

“Commander Wang, it will take the spiritual race at least a day to get through those ruins. We have a
day to recover and set up all the necessary traps,” Rocky commented. He had read Tucker’s mind and



informed him what they ought to do next.

“Even then, I’m afraid we won’t be able to hold for three days,” Tucker replied slightly pessimistically.

“How would you know if you didn’t even try? What’s more, we can still weaken the spiritual army race’s
strength to its limits even if we can’t fully defend the Tiger Whisker Pass. What more could they do by
then even if they take back the pass?” Rocky asked with a smile.

Tucker was momentarily stunned, but immediately understood that Rocky already expected this fight to
the finish with the spiritual race army from the very beginning. That was why he chose to blow up the
city walls.

“You must be tired, Commander Wang. Please rest. We need to recuperate and get as much energy as
we can. Our fate will be decided the day after tomorrow,” Rocky suggested calmly before walking away.

Once he returned to his residence at the Tiger Whisker Pass, Rocky entered the Magic Spiritual Space.
He needed to prepare for the upcoming battle. He wouldn’t let the spiritual race army easily take over
the Tiger Whisker Pass. But with the human army’s current strength, they wouldn’t stand a chance
against the spiritual race army.

But he could still buy them some time by making things more difficult for the spiritual race army before
they took over the Tiger Whisker Pass.

Rocky had previously operated on the Human-shaped Giant Beasts and successfully got them to obey
his orders in order to recapture the pass. But the price of the operation was that these Human-shaped
Giant Beasts would lose their consciousness. Those who would lose it wouldn’t live long. But he had to
let them finish their mission before their lives were cut short.

Since he came to this world, Rocky had done a lot of research on the genes of its spiritual beasts. With
his previous experience, he could create the gene fluid used to strengthen the spiritual beasts.



However, if he forced it too much, the beasts would pay for it dearly. This wouldn’t matter for spiritual
beasts on the brink of death, though.

So Rocky worked overnight to produce enough of the genetic fluid and injected it into the remaining
Human-shaped Giant Beasts.

After the injection, the auras of the multiple Human-shaped Giant Beasts shot up which caused them to
become violent and bloodthirsty.

Meanwhile, Phelps had ordered the spiritual race soldiers to dig into the ruins and open up a passage
as soon as possible so that they could annihilate the garrison of the Tiger Whisker Pass. What was
most important was that they take back the precious map.

Inside the Tiger Whisker Pass, most of the generals and soldiers were quite calm since they made
peace with the fact that they were about to engage in a fierce battle. However, their morale was quite
low. Their depression was something they could do nothing about. After all, not everyone had the
courage to willingly sacrifice themselves.

A day and a night had passed and various traps had been set up in the Tiger Whisker Pass.

Meanwhile, in the city’s ruins, the walls were about to be destroyed and the time of the inevitable battle
to the death drew near.

With the third day came a sweltering hot afternoon. A few huge blocks of stone suddenly toppled down
due to a strong force and through it shone a ray of blinding light. Then, two commanders of the spiritual
race, several deputy commanders, and some spiritual race warriors rushed into the Tiger Whisker
Pass.



“They’re coming!” Tucker trembled once he saw the ruins of the city walls were being destroyed. But he
managed to calm himself down immediately and began to command.

Under the command of Deputy Commander Ma, the Swimming Army led the fight against the spiritual
race.

However, under the cover of two commanders and dozens of spiritual race warriors, a large number of
spiritual race warriors began to rush in from the passageway and joined them for the battle.

Meanwhile, the Shield Army and the Changing Army joined forces to defend and deal with the spiritual
race soldiers in front of the city wall ruins to prevent more spiritual race soldiers from
entering.
