Chapter 1850 Reaching A New Area

Not long after, Valeria almost finished all the food that was cooked by Rocky.

"Whew! I'm so full!" The food was so good that her appetite alone made her eat a lot even though
originally, she was not even that hungry.

"Good. Now, you can take a nice rest. We'll set out at dawn, so go into the tree hole first. I just have to
do something," Rocky said and eventually stood up.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Valeria could not help but ask.

"I'm just going to set up an enchanted barrier. We don't know when those ghostly demons might
suddenly appear."

"Oh, okay." Afterward, Valeria also stood up and went into the tree hole. Upon sitting on the ground,

Rocky then proceeded to set up the enchanted barrier around the area. A bit later, he sat beside the
fire and summoned Kohen.

"I need you to explore the surroundings. We have to know where we should go next. However, if you
sense any danger, come back at once," Rocky instructed. At this point, Kohen was his only remaining
spiritual beast. Hence, he cherished it so much.

Kohen understood everything Rocky said, so it did not waste any time and immediately disappeared
into the darkness.

About two hours later, it returned safe and sound. Then, Rocky activated the Mysterious Beast
Transformation Skill in order to know what Kohen had to say. Later on, he learned from it that the
dense forest was just a periphery of a valley. A few miles away from where they were, Kohen found an
entrance into this valley.



"Hmm. I wonder if this valley leads to the Demon Sealing Palace..." Rocky had a bit of a hunch, but
they would have to go in person if he wanted to confirm his speculation.

Thus, he decided early the next morning, both he and Valeria would go deep into the forest to find this
path that led to the valley.

After resting for the entire night, the two were refreshed and ready to set out. Right after dawn, they
ventured into the depths of the primeval forest, searching for the entrance to the valley.

Meanwhile, both Zain's team and Enoch's team were in different areas, also experiencing the same
hellish journey that Rocky and Valeria went through. Some of their companions were injured, but the
two candidates were both safe.

On the other hand, Layla's team had not been so lucky. Just as Rocky feared, their other companions
were also scattered in different areas because they were caught up with the destruction of the
teleportation point. Although Layla had been trying her best to gather all of her dispersed team
members, she was just able to find half of them. Obviously, she still hadn't found Rocky and Valeria.
Because of this, the princess could not help but worry for the two Godly Geniuses. After all, if anything
bad happened to them, she would not know how to explain it to both Gilbert and Flora.

But in fact, she didn't even need to worry about the two. Rocky and Valeria were able to handle the
dangers of the Ghostly Demon Land just fine.

After walking for about half a day, Rocky and Valeria finally got to the entrance of the valley that Kohen
found last night. However, as they stepped into the entrance, something unexpected happened. The
primeval forest behind them gradually disappeared, and they were eventually surrounded by towering
rock walls.

As if telling them that there was no turning back, the two did not have much of a choice but to move
forward.



While wandering around, Rocky soon noticed that it was not really a valley. To be more precise, it was
like a huge tomb where countless bones could be seen piling on top of each other. It seemed that
ordinary human bones were mixed up with huge beast bones. When Rocky took a closer look, he
discerned that the huge beast bones were not just from ordinary spiritual or diabolic beasts.

Moreover, most of the bones were buried deep in sand, and only some parts were exposed above the
ground. Therefore, it could be said that countless years had already passed since these creatures died
in this place.

"Where are we now? Why are there so many skeletons lying around? It creeps the hell out of me!"
Valeria blurted out. Looking at the bizarre number of corpses around them, she felt a shiver down her
spine.

"This might be the battlefield where the ancestors of the Shura Race fought with the ghostly demons. If
my hunch is right, we are heading in the right direction. But we should be very careful from here on.
Otherwise, we might end up as one of these corpses." Even Rocky became very cautious upon seeing
the number of bones in the area. He sensed that they were about to venture into a place that was
unimaginably more dangerous than the previous areas. It reeked of death, and there was no telling
what they could suddenly encounter down here.

After a while, they eventually got to the innermost part of the valley. At the same time, the scene that
welcomed them was more shocking. There were even more corpses than before. There were at least
tens of thousands of them, forming a huge corpse mountain.

Moreover, it was their first time seeing martial spirits since they entered the valley. There were about a
hundred of them, circling around the corpse mountain, and emitting a strange yet powerful aura.

voice broke due to inexplicable fear.

"Just give me a minute." Rocky took another look at the martial spirits and thought that it would be a
pity to just leave them here. Immediately after, he went into the palace and asked the guardian for a
spiritual pot that could collect powerful martial spirits.

Afterward, Rocky took out the spiritual pot and quickly stored all of the martial spirits in it.

"Seriously? Do you have every kind of treasure for any situation?" Upon seeing that Rocky suddenly
took out a divine treasure that could easily absorb all those martial spirits that were even above the
Shura Realm, Valeria was just dumbfounded.

"If I tell you that I have an entire palace that is just filled with unique treasures, are you going to believe
me?" Rocky replied with a faint smile.

"Fine! Whatever. It's not like it has something to do with me," Valeria pouted, a bit envious upon
learning about this.

"What are you talking about? Did you forget that you are my wife now? It means that my possessions
are yours too! It's just a pity that most of the treasures there can only be used by warriors at or above
the Shura Realm. If they can only be utilized by warriors at the Emperor Realm, I would have already
given you a lot of those treasures!" Rocky said indifferently.

"Humph! I know that you are not being generous. You are just bragging!" Valeria glared at Rocky,

However, because of this, the originally gloomy atmosphere had instantly eased a lot. But of course,
Rocky knew that they could not afford to stay in this place any longer. Therefore, as Rocky finally
finished collecting the martial spirits, they immediately continued walking.

Another two days had passed, and they were still walking inside the valley.

Ever since they entered the ominous valley, Rocky and Valeria saw all kinds of inconceivable scenes
and things. Also, from time to time, they were faced with dangerous encounters.

Fortunately, Rocky had a countless stash of divine treasures from the palace. At any moment, he could
use something to protect them.

However, what bothered Rocky was that they had not seen any trace of the members of the Shura
Race yet. He knew that they were going in the right direction, but it was so eerie that they had not
spotted any other living being aside from themselves.

Finally, on their fourth day of venturing inside the valley, they saw three warriors from the Shura Race.
However, they were already dead.

"It looks like they are dead for about two days..." As Rocky inspected the corpses in front of them, he
estimated their time of death. Moreover, judging from their injuries, he guessed that the ghostly demons
were the ones who got them.

Since these three warriors were not from Layla's team, they could only assume that either Zain's team
or Enoch's team had already passed through this area two days ago. It also meant that they were way
ahead of Rocky and Valeria now.
