Chapter 1931 Give Up

A series of deafening explosions reverberated. Then, when the spirit warriors of the Wankong Clan
looked around, they were dumbfounded to see that the mountain of ice thorns that blocked their way

Except for Finnegan, the rest of the spirit warriors, including Alex, could not help but sit on the snow
upon realizing that they were already safe. They were furiously panting from fatigue since their spiritual

"I cannot believe that we really made it past that vicious spiritual array!" Alex exclaimed. She seemed
to sound extremely excited and confused at the same time.

"Me, either. What Rookie just did is beyond my comprehension!" Even Finnegan could only sigh in
disbelief. After all, he was a Spiritual Emperor at the medium stage and was supposed to be the
strongest in their team. However, his strength was not enough to get his team past the overwhelming
tests in the Ethereal Valley. Moreover, the one that actually saved them was just a Spiritual King.

Of course, if he knew Rocky's real strength, everything would make sense.



"Everyone, get enough rest and take some pills to replenish your spiritual power. Although we have
gotten out of that trouble, it's still hard to say what kind of test we will encounter next," Rocky urged the
members of his team.

"Hey, I need to talk to you," Vivian whispered as she signaled to Rocky.

"So, when are we going to leave these people and act on our own? We are wasting too much time."
Vivian went straight to the point. It seemed that she wanted to remind Rocky that their main purpose for
coming to the Ethereal Valley this time was to open the entrance to the Holy-Evil World.

"I know what you are thinking. However, let's just wait until we escort them to the designated area,"
Rocky replied without any reluctance.

"What? You don't have to be so kind to these people! Wait a minute. Do you have a crush on Alex? Is it
what this is about?" Truth be told, Vivian was sometimes annoyed at Rocky's generosity and
helpfulness. After all, she was born in the Shura Race, and they were known to have a culture of doing
things according to their own interests. Hence, she didn't understand why Rocky would go to such
extent to help people that he barely knew.

go if they know about this!" Vivian glared at Rocky before she shook her head and laughed.

"Don't worry. I just want Alex to get what she wants. Think of it as our thanks for her support to us,"
Rocky said with a gentle smile.



"Okay, fine. Whatever!" Because of the times that they spent together, Vivian already knew what kind of
person Rocky was, and no matter what she did, she would not be able to change his mind. Besides,
she just came to assist Rocky in his task, so she had no problem doing how he wanted to do things.

After resting for about four hours, Rocky and the rest got back on their feet and went on their way.

A whole day passed, and the team of the Wankong Clan still did not encounter anything out of the
ordinary.

Except for a few demonic spiritual beasts, they were able to handle things quite smoothly.

"It seems that we can get out of the snow land very soon." As Rocky looked onwards, he saw
numerous icebergs at the distance. But behind those icebergs, he could catch a glimpse of reflected
rays of the setting sun, which indicated a whole other area.

However, just as Rocky and the others thought they were about to reach the end of the snow land, a
deafening roar suddenly echoed and shook the vicinity.

Rocky could not help but frown while he looked in the direction where the roar came from. Afterward,
he saw many spiritual lights flickering in the northeast. From where he was standing, it appeared as if
there were spirit warriors fighting in the distance.

'It seems that I am about to see something good!' A subtle smile was revealed on Rocky's face after he
sensed something. Then, he approached Alex and said, "Young Master, you and the other spirit
warriors should stay here. Tripp and I will go there and have a look."

"No. I'll go with you! Finnegan can stay here with the rest," Alex proposed. It seemed that she was also
interested in what was happening.

Rocky hesitated for a moment, but then he eventually agreed.



After a while, he, Alex, and Vivian headed towards the northeast, where they saw the other spirit
warriors.

Not long after, they saw that more than twenty spiritual warriors were actually fighting with a ferocious
Ice Phoenix that was flying in the air. The aura of the Ice Phoenix was actually equal to a Spiritual
Emperor at the peak stage, so it was extremely strong. Judging from the rich spiritual energy that it

Acting on his instincts, Rocky hurriedly said to Alex and Vivian, "I think there is a treasure in the lair. I
will go and see if I can get it."

strongly refused.
