Chapter 1921 The Sinister Figures

While disorder ensued in the other areas of the Wankong Clan residence, figures with strong auras
landed in the Spring Cloud Pavilion. One of them extended his hand that was flashing with spiritual
light, and then bolted forward to break the door.

Smash!

The door of the pavilion broke open as two figures rushed inside. But soon, they flew out.

"That's strange. Where is he? I thought you said this is where he's staying?" one of them confusedly
asked.

"Do you think the Wankong Clan actually anticipated that we're coming to take him away? They
must've moved him someplace else," another man responded as he looked around the room.

"Well, he's not here. Let's just go before someone sees us." Since they didn't find what they came here
for, the two figures looked at each other knowingly and decided to leave.

Just as they flew into the air, something caught them off guard. They bounced right back to the ground
as though they had bumped into an invisible wall.

"What just happened?!" Clueless as to what was keeping them from escaping, the two figures
immediately grew exasperated.

A moment later, they sensed that there was a faint layer of spiritual light surrounding them.

"Is this an enchanted barrier?" one of the figures asked with furrowed brows. He was a high-level
Spiritual Emperor clad in cyan clothes.

He tried to break out from other directions several times, but failed to burst through the enclosure.



"You can try knocking it down a hundred times, and it still won't matter. Your strength is not enough to
break this enchanted barrier." While the two figures struggled to get out, a cold and lazy voice started
talking to them.

They looked in the direction where the voice was coming from and saw a silhouette leisurely walking
from the back of the pavilion. Apparently, Rocky had been waiting for them.

"Oh, what do you know? High-level Spiritual Emperors from the Myriad Spiritual Hall have actually
come to visit. To what do I owe this pleasure? Did you come here to enjoy the night view with me?"
Rocky mockingly welcomed the two figures as he faked a smile. He reckoned that Seth thought so
highly of him that he sent two Spiritual Emperors at the premium stage to kidnap him.

When they heard what Rocky said, they realized that he had set up the enchanted barrier and waited
for them since he had already expected their arrival.

Rocky was absolutely confident with the trap. With his enemies' strength, they wouldn't be able to
break through the enchanted barrier and leave anytime soon.

"Boy, don't play tricks on us. If I were you, I'd surrender right now. Don't wait for us to come out of here
and beat you up." The Spiritual Emperor turned livid as soon he recognized that Rocky had been
taunting them since they came to the Spring Cloud Pavilion.

"Oh, no. I'm so scared. Ha! Break the enchanted barrier first before you go talking big!" Rocky satirized
every word to provoke them.

Of course, Rocky's mockery had only made them more aggravated, especially since they saw him as a
measly Spiritual King.

Out of rage, they decided to charge at the enchanted barrier together. However, all their efforts came to
naught no matter how much they tried.



"Oh, come on. Just quit trying so hard. I already told you, remember? That's not going to work," Rocky
sneered. The enchanted barrier was actually set up by Vivian, so there was no chance that mere
Spiritual Emperors could break it. In fact, not even a warrior at the premium stage of the Shura Realm
could fare well against it.

Now that they couldn't find a way to get out of the trap, the two Spiritual Emperors had become more
worried than angry. They were getting apprehensive about the arrival of the people of the Wankong
Clan and how their plan of kidnapping the chosen one would be exposed. Once that happened, the
Wankong Clan would have a completely valid reason to make things difficult for the Myriad Spiritual
Hall.

"Boy, let us out! There's no need to trap us like this. Listen, if you remove this enchanted barrier, I
promise I'll leave you alone! I'll even give you some treasures. What do you say?" Thinking that Rocky
had power over the enchanted barrier, the Spiritual Emperor, who was wearing black garments, tried to
convince and charm him.

"Who says there's no need to trap you here? You know, now that you're trapped inside that barrier, I
can beat you up whenever I wanted to." Rocky continued to pick on them.

"This brat! Do you have a death wish? How dare you insult us?!" The Spiritual Emperor in cyan could
not hold his anger back any longer.

"Ha-ha! Let's see if you can still issue threats after this." As Rocky teased the Spiritual Emperors, a
creepy smile suddenly formed on his face.

Not a second later, a beautiful, masked figure came into the view above them. She dived from the air
and burst into the barrier, and then landed right in front of the two Spiritual Emperors.

"Isn't she awesome? Quick! You'd better kneel down and beg for mercy, or she will beat you so hard
that even your mothers won't be able to recognize you ever again," Rocky prescribed, crossing his



arms.

Needless to say, the masked woman was none other than Vivian.

Earlier that day, Rocky and Vivian had already suspected that the Myriad Spiritual Hall would try and
abduct the chosen one, so they planned to turn the tables on them and threaten them instead.

"For a petty Spiritual King, you sure can put on airs." The Spiritual Emperors felt that Vivian was
emitting an aura that was only at the King Realm, so they didn't take her seriously at all.

"Ha! You think this power is at the King Realm? Are you sure about that?" Rocky smirked and narrowed
his eyes.

As though an alarm had been set off, violent aura suddenly surged out of Vivian's body, which then
came rushing at the two Spiritual Emperors.

Before Vivian engulfed them in the pressure she released, the two Spiritual Emperors thought that she
was just bluffing. Now, their legs couldn't stop trembling and felt them weaken. Their chests were stuffy,
and cold beads of sweat came dripping down their foreheads. They didn't understand what was
happening and they were terrified to their core.

"Kneel!" Vivian shouted. Even her voice was terrifying.

Thump! Thump!

The two Spiritual Emperors were stupefied that they suddenly fell to their knees. Even if they wanted to
resist, their body forced them to bow down. This utter humiliation made their blood run cold.

Rocky was watching the whole time, so when he saw the two Spiritual Emperors from the Myriad
Spiritual Hall bend their knees before Vivian, he walked towards them with a smile, looking amused.



"So? Do you still think you're stronger than her? I believe you owe us an apology," Rocky stated.

Of course, their pride would not allow them to apologize. Otherwise, they would have nothing left to
show for in the spiritual race.

But if they didn't do it, they wouldn't get to leave this place.

Through gritted teeth, the Spiritual Emperor in black finally cried out, "Please, let us go! I'm sorry! We
shouldn't have come and tried to kidnap you!"

When he heard this, Rocky's face had a look of approval on his face. He then turned to the other one
and asked, "How about you, though?"

With a lot of unwillingness and hesitation, it took a while before the Spiritual Emperor in cyan finally
admitted his mistake just for the sake of it.

"There you go. Was that so hard? Alright, get out of here before I change my mind!" After humiliating
them enough, Rocky turned around and nodded to Vivian.

Vivian then waved her hand and the enchanted barrier that had sealed the two Spiritual Emperors
inside dissipated. When she finished, she announced in a sweet and gentle voice, "The enchanted
barrier has been removed. Now get out of here."

The Spiritual Emperors had come to their senses and stood up as soon as the barrier was lifted.

Just as they were about to leave, the Spiritual Emperor in cyan clothes suddenly released his aura at
the Emperor Level, which rushed to Rocky in a flash. It seemed that he had planned on taking Rocky
away when Vivian was not looking.

Rocky had his back turned from them, so the Spiritual Emperor was confident that his plan would work.
After all, Rocky could not see what was coming for him.
