Chapter 1813 An Anticipated Showdown

Everyone grew more and more excited for the anticipated battle between Basil and Israel. While some
might say that Israel was stronger, no one could say for sure since the two were neck in neck in terms
of strength.

Add to this the fact that Israel disguised himself as a well-known, high-grade Spiritual Emperor from the
spiritual race, while Basil himself was a new up-and-coming talent from the Ethereal Region.

The hilltop where the battle was to be held was already brimming with people wanting to watch the fight
up close. Thousands of people were eager to watch, including representatives of the major forces,
Spiritual Emperors from different sects, and disciples of the Di Clan.

Even Quentin, who was still gravely injured from the battle with Rocky, dragged himself to watch the
highly anticipated battle.

"I gathered information that Israel intends to kill off Basil in the battle," Gloria said to Quentin.

"To be honest, I prefer Basil to be the winner. Maybe he'd even save us the trouble of killing Israel,"
Quentin replied with a hopeful smile.

"I hope so!" Of course, Gloria would also be happy to see that.

"However, if Israel beats him, I'm afraid that even with the combined power of the other Godly
Geniuses, we won't stand a chance against Israel," Quentin said with worry written all over his face.

Drew, so why would he spare you?" Gloria looked at Quentin with much curiosity as she narrowed her
eyes in thought.

"How would I know? If I were given another chance, I'll definitely kill him!" Quentin said ferociously.



The next moment, Rocky and Israel's figures appeared out of the mountaintop, several meters away
from each other. They were locked in each other's stare, creating a chilling yet intense atmosphere.

Rocky's eyes were dead-cold. Only a few people had ever witnessed this side of Rocky, and no one
was able to live to tell the tale.

"Valeria must be having a hard time now, am I right?" Israel broke the deafening silence, trying to
provoke Rocky.

"I don't know what you are talking about," Rocky bit back, although he knew that Israel must have
discovered something.

"You maybe have fooled the others, but not me. From the first time I met you, I already had the feeling
that something's wrong, and your disappearance in the Holy Heaven Palace only confirmed my
suspicions. All this time, you've been hiding your true strength! Perhaps you are even close with the
human race," Israel said, not afraid of accusing Rocky with his suspicions. From the get-go, he was
already wary of him.

"Humph! No matter what, you will definitely lose this battle!" Rocky bit back, not being fazed by his
opponent's banter.

"To be honest, I don't want to stand against you, at least not now. If a battle between us is inevitable, I
have expected it to be held on a bigger stage. But unfortunately, your presence is beyond my
endurance now!" With that, Israel's eyes turned cold.

"Then there is no need for more talk!" Rocky welcomed the challenge. He knew they were now at the
point of no return.

"Today I will show you my real strength!" Israel let out a defiant roar and rushed forward in an instant.
Since he didn't want to give Rocky a chance to fight back, an intimidating spiritual power surged out of



his body.

"What?! I'm sensing that he's at the peak of the Emperor Realm! He also hid his real strength!" Both
Quentin and Gloria gasped in shock.

The crowd burst into an uproar when they also saw this. The atmosphere grew even more intense.

Meanwhile, Israel unloaded his first attack. His punch packed the power of multiple megaton bombs,
obliterating everything in its path.

Rocky felt overwhelmed by its power in an instant. Israel's attack created a harsh, blinding light, making
it impossible for Rocky to see him.

Even the onlookers shielded their eyes from it. They were in awe at Israel's display of skill and could
tell that he was hell-bent on finishing off his opponent.

The strike exploded like streaks of flickering starlight around Rocky, but to everyone's surprise, he
didn't try to dodge it at all. Soon enough, he was swallowed up by the violent impact.

The spectators once again burst into an uproar. They did not expect that Rocky would just stand idly
and take Israel's attack head-on. Many even thought that the battle was sure to be over!

"Why didn't Basil dodge?" Carla and Lilith both looked at each other in confusion.

For most, they thought this was because Rocky wasn't strong enough to avoid such a devastating
attack.

Even Israel was surprised to see Rocky willingly take his attack.



As the crowd silenced, they heard a cocky sneer suddenly come out from nowhere. Rocky emerged
from the dust, completely unharmed as if nothing happened.

Seeing this, everyone had their mouths hanging wide open in disbelief. Many thought it was impossible
to withstand such an attack and remain unharmed. It would simply be ludicrous if he had resisted
Israel's attacks only with the protection of his spiritual power.

"Is this even possible? He actually resisted a wave of attacks only with the protection of his spiritual

The crowd buzzed back to life as each of the spectators speculated how Rocky managed to survive

Eventually, he noticed a thin layer of chilling energy covering Rocky's body.

This thin layer of energy was formed after he finished refining his body. It served as an armor that could
block any attack weaker than that of the Shura Realm.

In other words, Rocky's body was now tougher than diamond. Even a master at the Shura Realm might
not be able to hurt him.

"Use whatever skill you have!" Rocky said to Israel provocatively.



"I'll send you to hell!" Israel's blood boiled in anger. He used the same spiritual skill, but this time, he let
out hundreds of attacks from all different directions, completely decimating the mountaintop.

Facing such a powerful attack, the spectators began to tremble in fear. No one had the guts to move a
step closer to the battle in fear for their life.

Seeing that Israel used the same skill, Rocky scoffed at him as he calmly raised his hand. He suddenly
threw out his fists at lightning-fast speed, unleashing a great number of fist strikes far more than what
Israel summoned.
