Chapter 1825 Overwhelming Murderous Will

The moment Rocky stepped into the forest, he sensed that a murderous will oozed out from the figure
who was following him. But of course, he still remained calm because he was leading the person here
on purpose.

Realizing that they were now in a remote place, the person bearing the killing intent suddenly rushed
towards Rocky. Soon enough, Rocky felt a shining sharp claw around his neck.

"Have you really thought this through, Quentin? I am about to attend a wedding ceremony as the
bridegroom. If anything suddenly happens to me, I'm afraid you won't be able to escape this place,"
Rocky warned. Even before he entered the forest, he already knew that it was Quentin who was
following him.

"I'm not stupid. I'm not here to kill you. Just give me the formula of the healing pill and you're free to
go!" Quentin said in a rough and gloomy voice.

"Formula? What are you talking about?" Rocky did not want this to be easy for Quentin, so he
pretended not to know about it.

"You can't fool me! I know that you made a special healing pill to save Valeria. Now, give the formula of
that pill to me so that we can both walk out of here as soon as possible! I'm not playing games here,
Odin!" Quentin roared.

"Oh, so you want to heal yourself using my pills? I can create those pills to help you. But is this the way
you're going to ask me for help? By attacking me?" Rocky sneered, deliberately provoking Quentin.

But after regaining his senses, Quentin finally took away the Spectral King Claw.

"How do you know that I have those healing pills?" Rocky asked, trying to confirm that Gloria did her
job appropriately.



"Why do you care? That's not important!"

"Well, there's only one possible person who could have told you about it. It was Gloria, right? She came
to me lately, but apparently, she just did that to steal the pills and give them to you," Rocky said with a
serious expression. He did this on purpose so that Quentin would trust Gloria even more.

daydreaming!" Quentin snorted disdainfully, falling easily for Rocky's splendid act.

"Humph! I don't need her in the first place. I already have Valeria, so I can just dispose of her anytime,"
Rocky retorted with a shrug.

"Don't act like you're such a big shot. Just cut the crap and give me the formula. I don't have much time
to waste on you!" Quentin demanded sternly, growing impatient with their pointless conversation.

"I can give you the formula, but it will just be pointless in your hands," Rocky said while crossing his
arms on his chest.

"What the hell do you mean?"

"It means that I am the only one who can refine this complex kind of pill. If you really want to recover
from your injuries, you have to ask for my help in refining them. So, if you ever plan to do something
against me, then you are doomed to become disabled throughout your whole life."

"Are you threatening me, bastard?" Based on Rocky's tone, Quentin easily perceived that Rocky was
implying something more.

"Threatening you? No, of course not. I don't have to do that. After all, at your current state, I can just
watch on the sidelines while the other Godly Geniuses take care of you. I don't even need to deal with
you myself," Rocky replied, subtly mocking him by stating the obvious.



"Then, what the hell do you want? Just say it direct to my face!" Although Quentin was unwilling to ask
for Rocky's help, at this point, he was the only one that could heal him.

"All right then, since you want me to be straightforward, listen carefully to what I'm about to say. All I
want is for you to persuade the leader of your Purgatory Fief to side with Princess Layla in the coming
selection of the next ruler of the Shura Race," Rocky said bluntly.

"What? That's impossible! The Purgatory Fief has already decided to support Prince Zain!" Quentin
instantly refused, knowing that this matter was out of his hands.

"Well, I don't think that's my problem anymore. You asked me what I want as payment for your
recovery, so you have to agree with my condition. I'm sure you understand your position. After all,
without the Godly Genius, the Purgatory Fief will be out of the competition for good, and of course, you
don't want that. Moreover, I'm a bit certain that the leader of your fief is yet to know that you're seriously
injured, right?" Rocky knew that Quentin was at his most desperate moment right now, so he was
confident that he could take advantage of it.

"Damn it! Why do I have to go through this?" Quentin's face twitched in rage that the veins on his
temples became very visible.

"Don't get so angry. I'm sure that it won't be that difficult for you to convince your leader. After all,

ruler in the past. It will also be advantageous for your fief if she became the next ruler." Rocky
expressed his opinion, pushing Quentin to agree with him.

former state," Rocky answered honestly.

Quentin to be skeptical. After all, they were still enemies. He could not help but worry that Rocky would
stop helping him once Layla had already become the queen.

"You can doubt me all you want, but one thing is for sure. I am your only hope! So, you actually have
no choice but to trust me whether you like it or not," Rocky said haughtily.

Obviously, Quentin was not satisfied with this answer, so he could not help but reveal a hint of anger on
his face. On the other hand, he realized that Rocky was right. He could not afford to doubt him because
he was the only one that could help him recover.

After they settled with the agreement, Quentin immediately disappeared from where he stood.

Then, a few moments after Quentin left, Gloria suddenly appeared behind Rocky.

"So, you asked me to give him the medicinal pill so that you can manipulate him into agreeing with
what you want?" Gloria shook her head, only realizing the motive behind Rocky's order.

"Yeah, you did well. Thank you." Rocky turned to her and let out a huge smile.



"But why does the Ghost Fief want to support Princess Layla? In terms of strength, the better candidate
that can contend with Prince Zain is Prince Enoch," Gloria asked with furrowed brows.

"Well, first, Leader Gilbert has already established a good relationship with Princess Layla. As for me, I
also want to support her due to my own reasons. Don't worry. I won't force the Genie Fief to support
Princess Layla, as long as you will not side with Prince Zain," Rocky assured Gloria. But of course, if
she could convince her father to side with Princess Layla, then it would even be better.

"I can't make the decision myself, but I will surely take this to my father once we meet again." Gloria

there is an opportunity." Moreover, Rocky knew that he would not be able to do his tasks if Gloria would
always pester him.

"Humph! You don't want me there so that no one will interfere when you fool around with other girls!"
Gloria's eyes widened in anger and jealousy.

his wife than Valeria.

"What is in it for me if I listen to you?" Gloria immediately bargained. As a scheming woman, she would
not do something against her will if she would not gain something from it.



"Fine! I promise to make sure that you will enter the final battle of the Godly Geniuses. Is that enough?"
Rocky eventually offered.

"Really? You are not just saying that so that I will agree?" Gloria's eyes instantly lit up after she heard
what Rocky was offering this time.

"Tell me. When did I ever break my promise?"

"All right! You have a deal. No take backs!" Gloria said enthusiastically. Holding on to Rocky's promise,
she hurriedly left with deep satisfaction written all over her face.
