Chapter 1656 Farewell

Meanwhile, although Marcia, Alyssa, and Colton were fighting together, they couldn't harm Jonathan.
Over and over, he injured them.

They figured that when Rocky had opened the door to the alien world, it had angered Jonathan. Now,
his strength was increasing again. He flung Alyssa and Colton out of the way and headed for Marcia.
Grabbing her by the neck with one hand, he squeezed her and lifted her off of the ground. Her feet
dangled, as she tried to find something to stand on.

Now that her strength was suppressed, Marcia couldn't fight back and free herself. Her delicate face
instantly turned red, as if she were about to suffocate.

When they saw Marcia flailing, Alyssa and Colton felt the urge to save her.

However, they were running out of time. She was too far away!

Just as Marcia started to fade, a figure appeared. A huge sword light slashed through the air and
headed for the arm that Jonathan was using to hold Marcia.

When he noticed, Jonathan immediately cast Marcia to the ground and dodged the sword light.

After landing heavily in the dirt, Marcia coughed up a few mouthfuls of blood. Her face was colorless
and her eyes were barely open, displaying her severe injuries.

"I can handle him on my own. Glutton, escort Alyssa and Marcia through the gate to the alien world
right now," Rocky ordered.

"I'll stay with you." Rocky looked over to Alyssa. Of course, she refused to let him fight on his own.

"I'll be right there. You need to go. Trust me!" Rocky told her.



After seeing the serious look on Rocky's face, Alyssa flew to the ground and helped Marcia up. Then
Glutton led the two of them towards the door.

"Little brat, go to hell!" Due to Rocky's attack, fury had once again filled Jonathan. He rushed forward
like a cannonball, producing a huge pressure. In an instant, he had shrouded Rocky. It felt as though a
mountain was pressing down on him.

Without faltering, Rocky waved his sword to resist the attack. The two forces collided with each other
and an astonishing light was produced.

However, since most of his power had been used to activate the Star Beast Ring, Rocky had nothing
left in him to fight against Jonathan.

Soon, Jonathan's power was too much for him to handle and he was forced to return to the ground.

Understandably, Jonathan didn't give Rocky a chance to fight back. Light waves rushed after Rocky
and pummeled him into the earth. The ground around him had collapsed, forming a wide, deep pit.

"Basil..." Both Alyssa and Marcia had tears in their eyes as they watched the scene unfold.

However, because Rocky had stalled for them, Glutton had time to get Alyssa and Marcia to the gate.
At the same time, the elites from the Holy Dragon Empire, including Shirley and Sabina, also arrived.

"Hurry up! The power of the door is becoming unstable," Harlan warned.

"But Basil..." Alyssa uttered, looking back at him.

Marcia also looked worried.

"Just go through the gate. I'll help my master!" Glutton shouted, flying towards Jonathan.



"I'll go with you." After handing Marcia over to Sabina and Shirley, Alyssa started running after the
beast.

But Shirley swung her whip and instantly wrapped it around Alyssa's delicate body.

"I'm sorry!" Shirley said.

"Shirley, what are you doing?" Alyssa looked back at Shirley with a mixture of disbelief and anger on
her face.

"I made a promise to Basil that I would stop you from sacrificing yourself," Shirley replied, tugging her
backwards.

"Are we just going to watch him die for us?" Alyssa asked.

"She's right. We can't leave him to fight alone. We'd rather die in battle!" Marcia added resolutely.

"He asked me to tell you that he lives for us. So, if we die, there's no point in him continuing to live!"
Shirley informed them.

Both Alyssa and Marcia fell silent after hearing that.

"Let me send you away." When it saw that Marcia and the others were still hesitant, Harlan opened its
mouth wide and spewed out a cyclone. It picked up Marcia and the others and transported them into
the door that led to the alien world. In the blink of an eye, they were gone.

Then, due to the imbalance in strength, the door began to shrink.

After reaching Rocky's side, Glutton immediately made use of the Spirit Possession and transferred its
own power into Rocky.



When he was strong enough, Rocky fought over a hundred rounds with Jonathan. And even with the
help of the Spirit Possession, he could only manage to end the fight in a draw. It was almost impossible
to kill Jonathan.

"I have to fight harder if I want to win!" Rocky yelled, taking out the Scarlet Heaven Jade and crushing it
in his hand. In an instant, the power within the Scarlet Heaven Jade rushed into his body.

"Come on!"

Rocky shouted as a ray of dazzling light instantly enveloped him. Then, a tremendous force formed and
was released from his body, filling the heaven and earth.

"This power... It looks like the king of Shura..." Jonathan mumbled. For once, there was a hint of fear on
his face. The power that Rocky was releasing could only be possessed by the king of Shura.

Now that he had absorbed the power from the Scarlet Heaven Jade, Rocky had become evil and his
aura of Shura was even stronger than Jonathan's.

"Who the hell are you?" Jonathan asked in a loud voice.

"I am the king of Shura!" Rocky answered in a deeper voice than usual.

For the moment, Rocky was no longer Rocky. He was the incarnation of the king of Shura.

With a gentle wave of his Mystical Dragon Sword, Rocky produced a ray of astonishing sword light. It
fell from the sky like a god's strike.

Jonathan looked up. The great power in the sword light was too strong. He had nowhere to escape. He
had to try his best to resist it. Unfortunately, it was the power of the king of Shura and the supreme
power of the Shura Race.



Before he could even react, the sword light pierced through Jonathan's body. He exploded and the
blood mist floated in the air before it slowly dissipated.

At that moment, Rocky was no longer able to bear the impact of the huge force inside of him. His whole
body was disintegrating, leaving only a spiritual light shadow floating in the air. His expression was
peaceful, as if he had become a god.

When the members of the Shura Race saw that Jonathan had been killed by Rocky and that Rocky
had displayed the supreme power of the Shura Race, they were all shocked. They all knelt on the
ground and worshipped him.

The human guards also looked at Rocky's light shadow with admiration swimming in their large eyes.

The whole time, the gate to the alien world had been shrinking and closing. Suddenly, it collapsed into
a pile of ruins.

Although he knew that he had lost the chance to go back, Rocky smiled. All that mattered was that he
had kept his promise to Isis.

And it was not goodbye forever, because for Rocky, it was the beginning of another legendary journey.
