Chapter 1470 Ally With The Robber Regiment (Part One)

"Where did you get so many martial spirits?" Eunice asked with a look of disbelief. These many martial
spirits showing up simultaneously was totally beyond her imagination. In the Supreme Ether Land, it
was exceedingly rare for a spirit warrior to see one. So, it was difficult to imagine that Rocky would
have so many martial spirits all for himself.

"You don't need to know that. What's important is that you can choose one for yourself. I am sure there
is a suitable one for you in here," Rocky replied.

"Are you really willing to let me fuse with one of the martial spirits?" Eunice didn't understand why
Rocky was willing to let her merge with a martial spirit, especially one that was his own. Logically
speaking, even if Rocky didn't kill her, there was no way he would let her be benefited in any way.
Whatever was happening right now didn't make sense.

"Consider it a return-favor. Since I need your help, I must give you something in return. Besides, it's not
a big deal for me," Rocky explained. Considering the number of martial spirits in his possession, giving
one away didn't matter to him. He was certain that the Robber Regiment's information would prove
immensely helpful for his future, so he decided to make a bet. He bet himself that Eunice would not
prove to be an ungrateful person.

"Not a big deal? Come on! You must be kidding, right? I mean I am sure you know how rare martial
spirits are. It's the dream of countless Spirit Realm warriors to have them under their control. It's
amazing that you own so many, but it doesn't make sense for you to give them away just like that." As
she spoke, Eunice felt a little angry. But she didn't understand what was wrong with her. Maybe she
was jealous, or maybe she couldn't understand the man in front of him. In any case, she was both
curious and suspicious about Rocky right now.

She really wanted to know how he had come to have so many martial spirits, but she also knew that he
was not going to tell her.



"If you want to get back at the earliest, you'd better find yourself a suitable martial spirit now," Rocky
suggested.

"Do you want me to help you fuse with her?" Rocky asked.

"No, thanks." Eunice shook her head and took out a light bead. The bead lit up and instantly sucked the
martial spirit inside it.

"What kind of treasure is that?" Rocky asked. It was the first time he had seen such a thing.

"It's called Spirit Bead. It is a kind of spiritual treasure used specifically to absorb martial spirits," Eunice
explained.

"So, you are going to take the martial spirit back and cultivate it later?" Rocky asked.

"Of course, I can't be sure about you. I fear that you will do something bad to me when I start fusing,"
Eunice replied with a serious expression on her face.

"Ha-ha, whatever. But what I just said..." Rocky's eyes narrowed slightly.

"I will help you, but I can't guarantee what I can get you," Eunice replied, putting her gaze at Rocky.



"Just try your best." Rocky nodded.

"But who are you? I've heard several things about the Sword Spirit City and have a lot of information
about it, but I've never heard of someone like you," Eunice asked curiously. Although she had met
Rocky two times, she still knew nothing about him. Even after what had happened, she could not figure
out who he was.

"My name is Basil," Rocky introduced himself.

"Basil? So you are the famous newcomer of the Sword Spirit City?" Eunice had heard the name and
immediately recalled the tales she'd heard of Basil of the Sword Spirit City. The man had made quite a
name for himself and was famous across borders. She hadn't expected to meet him like this.

"Do you suddenly find my figure more magnificent than before?" Rocky teased.

"Don't make me sick!" An expression of nausea splattered itself on Eunice's face.

"It's time for you to go back. Remember, what happened just now is our secret. If word gets out, you
will regret it," Rocky warned.

"Once I fuse with the martial spirit and break through to the King Realm, you won't be a match for me.
What makes you think I would take you seriously?" Eunice made a strange face.

"Don't be so confident. I always get my way," Rocky replied with an evil smile.

That froze Eunice on the spot. She always felt nervous every time she saw the evil but attractive smile
on Rocky's face.

"One more thing. We have discovered your stronghold. So, it'd be best for you to leave with your men
once you get back, However, you must promise that from now on, you won't harm the people of the



Sword Spirit City," Rocky reminded. He was hoping that his cooperation with Eunice wouldn't get
compromised from external factors. If it succeeded, he would find himself a strong ally in her.

"You don't have to remind me of that. But as a thank-you gift, I should warn you that the Grand Sky
Sect has targeted the Sword Spirit City. I think they want to annex the city and expand their own force.
You know that the sect is the most important force in the Sovereign Pavilion which means that if there's
a conflict between you two, the Sovereign Pavilion will turn a blind eye to their actions. I believe that
counts as a bad thing," Eunice warned him.

"Aren't you afraid that telling me this would ruin your relationship with the Grand Sky Sect?" Rocky
knew that the Robber Regiment and the Grand Sky Sect were on one side.
