Chapter 1418 Working At The Beast Farm

"Hey, come with me," Ramon said to Rocky as he wore a serious expression on his face.

Rocky quickly nodded and informed Tessa, "Nightshade's condition has basically stabilized already, but
I still need to disinfect its wound and put on the necessary medication every day. So, I guess I'll be
coming here every morning from now on."

"All right. Thank you very much for all your help," Tessa replied with a bright smile on her face.

"No. I should be the one thanking you for introducing me to a new job," Rocky said before he finally
followed Ramon.

Then, shortly after, the two of them left the Fragrance Pavilion.

"Brat, you can't fool me. What's your real purpose?" Ramon asked coldly. As soon as they got out of
the pavilion, Ramon's strong spiritual aura suddenly rose and enveloped him.

"Purpose for? I can't follow what you're talking about." Rocky pretended to be ignorant and denied
everything that Ramon was speculating.

"I don't think you are who you claimed to be. Besides, didn't you say yesterday that your ribs were
broken? Why does it seem that you didn't suffer any injury at all? What stunt are you trying to pull off?"
Ramon tried to grill him until he folded.

"Well, I'm not a doctor, so I can't really say if I'm injured or not. It just felt that something was wrong in
my body at that time. I'm actually glad that it turns out to be nothing serious," Rocky answered with a bit

"I'm Basil. Nice to meet you!" Rocky cupped his hands as he introduced himself to the man.

"Basil, huh? Okay, come with me." The man then waved his hand and signaled Rocky to follow him.
Although he didn't know why the guy, who suddenly disappeared yesterday, was now assigned to work
in the beast farm, he had no choice but to obey since it was a direct order from his superior.

With that, Rocky followed closely behind him.

Then, the man accompanied Rocky around the beast farm and made him familiarize himself with
everything that was in there. He also told him about some matters that needed continuous attention



and other basic things that he needed to know. After a brief tour of the place, he gave Rocky a task,
asking him to clean the farm and feed the spiritual beasts.

On the other hand, Rocky was already very familiar with this kind of job. In fact, when he first arrived at
the Crimson Dragon Group before, this was what he did. So, it was just like taking up his old job. At the

After the creatures of the Wild Spirit Land had been captured, their spiritual power was all sealed.
Therefore, right now, they were no different from ordinary people. When Bryant was hit by the whip, the
skin on his shoulder instantly tore open, and the damage looked terrifying.

"Grandfather!" Shirley, who was directly standing behind Bryant, shouted in exasperation as she glared
at the man who hit his grandfather.

when he was required to visit the Fragrance Pavilion to check on Nightshade's progress.

There were not that many spiritual beasts in the beast farm where Rocky worked. From what he
learned the past days, spiritual beasts were much rarer in the alien land than in the Wild Spirit Land.
Since the alien land was enveloped by the evil spirit, most of the beasts were diabolic spiritual beasts
or demonic spiritual beasts. Both of the two kinds were much more difficult to tame than ordinary
spiritual beasts. In fact, human spirit warriors only possessed the strength to tame the ordinary spiritual
beasts. Moreover, in the alien land, besides the Shura Race, the human race and the spiritual race
were really not that proficient in beast taming. Thus, they were more focused on pursuing the martial
arts, gaining them the title of spirit warriors.
