Leah showed up at Rosa Garden shortly after.

With a backpack on her shoulders and a luggage bag in her hand, Leah, who was dressed like a
college student, showed up at Rosa Garden.

Staring at the bed of roses in the garden, Leah felt as if it had been a lifetime ago since she was here
at the Rosa Garden.

The last time she was at Rosa Garden was three years ago for her uncle’s and aunt’s funeral. It was
also on that day that she saw her cousin, Sage, bawling and crying her heart out.

Not long after that, Sage too was “dead”.

She saw how Braxton and Yeva moved into the Rosa Garden and had got rid of the bed of roses in the
garden. At that moment, Leah knew that things would not be the same anymore.

“Leah, you’re here!”

Yeva, who was in the middle of memorizing the house rules, noticed Leah and immediately ran down
the stairs to welcome her.

Leah was uncomfortable with Yeva’s sudden warm and friendly welcome. Stammering, she said,
“Yeva… hey.”

Yeva was especially friendly. She took Leah to her room and kicked out the bodyguards. “We wish to
talk. Give us some room. You can come back later.”



Staring at the two bodyguards, Leah looked puzzled. “Why are they here?”

Leah and started sobbing,” Leah, I’m so glad that you’re here! You don’t even know how much I’ve
been tortured these days!”



Leah looked puzzled, almost disconcerted.

“Tsk, what a waste that Yeva had not enrolled in acting classes. She would make one hell of an actress
with her acting skills,” Luther commented.

With a cup of coffee in his hand, Luther was watching the CCTV video playing on the laptop and nearly
choked when Yeva started her dramatic acting.

Sage, on the other hand, was going through some documents while the video played. “I don’t think that
the film academy would accept someone with such poor skills.”

Looking up, she saw Leah. In the three years, Leah had lost some weight. She looked grown up now.

Before Leah could even grasp the situation, Yeva started complaining about what Sage had done to
her ever since she returned. The account included how Sage had used her seniority to humiliate and
punish her.

“Here, look at these bruises on my knees. They’re still swollen! How could she have me kneel by the
toilet for an entire night?

“Next to the toilet! And it was for the entire night! Can you believe it?”



“She even forced me to memorize house rules, and there are a hundred of them! I don’t even know
where she got a ferrule, and she threatened me. She said she would hit me if I made a mistake. Tell
me, Leah, who does she think she is? How can she bully me like that?”

Listening to Yeva’s complaints, Luther could not help but laugh. Poking Sage’s shoulders, he said,
“You’re quite cruel, aren’t you? Who did you learn it from?” “Cruel?” Sage scoffed, “Compared to the
