Sage did not give Jace a chance to voice out his thoughts as she directed her fingers at the Charlotte
Lady and Starry Party roses together.

Hunter understood her instructions and went straight to the festival’s marketing department.

Jace gasped and asked her, “You’re choosing both of them?”.

“Why not?” Sage asked him back, “Why can’t I have two kinds for my brand?”

Why not? Jace was amused, he stared at her and thought to himself, This woman always surprises me
no matter how many times I think I’ve finally cracked the code.’

He smiled under the sunlight and said, “I’m looking forward to it.”

The Rose Festival took up a few main streets of Salem City. There was thousands of bouquets of
roses, a mile-long wall made of roses, and a staircase made of roses that signified everlasting love.”

Other than that, there was also a rose petal shower event that attracted many people to check it out.

The couples were holding hands, kissing passionately at this event that seemed more romantic than
Valentine’s Day.

Some of them wore gowns, and some were brides-to-be taking their wedding photographs. It was an
amazing sight to behold.

Jace and Sage were walking separately at this point, and suddenly, someone took Sage’s hands.





She was shocked and tried to escape as she shrieked, “What’s happening?”

It was Jace. He held on her hands tightly and whispered in her ear, “I’m feeling a little nervous, this is
my first time at such an event.”

“What? Are you fu…”Sage almost cursed, but chose to intensely glare at Jace instead. This man was
thick-skinned, it seemed.

All these years of having a crush on Jace, she never realized how indifferent Jace was from the other
men. Love sure does put a rose colored lens for her vision

His hands felt moist. Sage could not escape from him, so she had to let him be. After all, it was more
common to be seen holding hands than not in here.

They walked to the central point of the petal shower: An abundance of rose petals fell from the sky, it
was both romantic and absolutely stunning. The crowd cheered happily, and Sage naturally broke into
a smile.

Jace looked at Sage, he had not seen her this happy for a long time, and he missed this smile.

As many couples were seen kissing each other, Jace called out her name lightly, “Sage.”

Sage was immersed in the romance as she looked back, distorted. As she met his eyes, her lips
somehow locked onto his.

They looked just like a regular couple, having a romantic kiss under the petal shower. They could kiss
forever, as long as no one disrupted their moment…
