Jaxon tried controlling his facial expressions. He rolled on the muddy ground countless
times, holding a sword, and finally passed after getting stuck twice. The actors had their assistants
waiting on the side, and once they were done with the scene, they handed over warm water and towels
to the actors. Jaxon passed them to the senior actor who played Federico. They chatted happily, and
they seemed peaceful. Jaxon seemed like a gentleman and not at all like a devious person.

Sage blinked her eyes. When the scene ended, she went to the back and greeted Lincoln. Jaxon was
chatting with a veteran actor and spoke about the hardship of being an actor. His manager walked over
and hinted at Sage’s arrival. “The executive producer came. She’s sitting beside the director.”

Jaxon looked up and saw a pretty woman sitting next to the director, looking young and beautiful. She
wore a black and white suit, looking professional and slick.

Lincoln was publicly known as a charismatic person, but the woman seated beside him was not
affected at all.

What an unbelievable sight it was.

Lincoln had a bright smile on and laughed along with that young woman. Lincoln rarely even smiled.

Jaxon smiled and calmly asked his manager, “That was the new boss of Norastar Entertainment?”

“Yes, not only Norastar Entertainment. She owns the entire Norah Group,” his manager then continued,
“She’s the one who single-handedly took down Starship Entertainment – the only heiress of Norah
Group.” Jaxon nodded lightly and replied, “She must have arranged Dean into this.” “Not just Dean.
She’s the main investor of this movie,” his manager responded.

“Go get cleaned up. Your part is done for the day. I’ll introduce you to her.”



Sage was familiar to the crew. Her mother, Primrose, was the founder of Norastar Entertainment.
Sage’s life was relatively free before her kidnapping. Her parents often brought her along when they
were out and about Sage would rather follow her mom around with the crew and production set to learn
about new things rather than follow her dad to meetings and giving lectures in colleges. Lincoln
recalled Sage as a child as he gestured with his hands, “You were only yay tall and sitting on my lap.
You cried as the actors cried and laughed as they laughed. You had a strong empathetic skill, and I told
your mom to make you a young star, but she refused.” “My mom thinks I’m hideous, and she trained
my third brother instead,” said Sage.

Lincoln laughed uncontrollably. “Hahaha! Indeed, you were prettier when you were a kid. You looked
like a doll, and your eyes were glistening.”

Sage frowned. “Hey, Uncle Lincoln!” “Yes, of course, your eyes still glisten.” Jaxon and his manager
came forward as they were laughing together, and they put on a commercial smile.

“Hi, Miss Sage. I’m Sunny, Jaxon’s manager. This is Jaxon, and we’re very pleased to connect with
you.”

Sage looked up and had her sight set on Jaxon.

“Hi, Miss Sage. Nice to meet you.” Jaxon placed his hand out to shake Sage’s hand, but Sage sat there
unfazed. Her icy expression saw through Jaxon’s intentions, and Jaxon felt exposed. He shivered.
