Chapter 422

During her 17 years of living, this was the first time Melody had seen a stunning looking
person, so she could not help but be flabbergasted.

She blinked and changed the way she addressed him at the speed of light. “Brother!” Yoel was the
youngest in the Fulton family. He did not have any other younger siblings. So when a young girl
suddenly addressed him as a brother, he felt indescribably pleased and was on cloud nine. He truly felt
the youthfulness from the young lady.

“Mhm,” he answered with great satisfaction. As he recalled that this girl had addressed Sage as Aunt
Sage, his eyes lit up with interest. He asked Sage, “Which of your brothers is the father of this child?”

Other people may not know this, but because of Jace, Yoel knew very clearly that Sage has five
brothers. There was no way to lie to him.

Once she heard that this handsome man knew about her aunt’s secret of having many brothers,
Melody was even more certain that he was Sage’s lover. She then asked curiously,” Aunt Sage, is he
your past lover or a new lover?”

Sage was speechless. As the aunt, Sage did not go easy on her niece when she disciplined her. She
directly bent Melody over, raised her hand, and forcefully slapped Melody on her bottom. “If you speak
any more nonsense, I will punish you.” “I was wrong! I’m sorry for saying that, Aunt Sage!” Melody
Coward Samuel was used to being bullied by her father since young. She always knew that people
who adapted the quickest to whatever circumstances given were great ones. Therefore, if she was
given a chance to act like a coward, she would do it absolutely wholeheartedly. “Don’t discipline me in
public, it’s very embarrassing.” Sage glared at her as a warning before she released her. Melody
cupped her bottom as she got up. She then pursed her lips while feeling aggrieved. She glanced at the
side and saw that Yoel was actually smiling.



How could this person be happy about other people’s misfortune? Yet, he looked charming when he
smiled!

Melody could not hold herself back, she reached out her hand and poked the dimple on Yoel’s cheek.
Then, she asked a silly question, “Why is there a dent on your face?”



Yoel was speechless. Yoel’s temple twitched a little. At that moment, he mistook her words and thought
she said he had a dent on his face. He almost wanted to retort with the same thing he thought she said.

He decided not to. Instead he raised his eyebrows and then flicked her hand away. “Don’t simply poke
people. This is called a dimple. Some people can’t even get it even if they wanted one.”

Sage silently said it in her heart, ‘So cocky’ Melody was very supportive. “Wow. That’s amazing.” Sage
was speechless. ‘Is this child a fool or what?’ Yoel – who was complimented — became very happy. He
raised his eyebrows in confidence,” Of course.”

Sage ignored the two silly people and sat down to have breakfast. Soon, Leah also made her way
downstairs. When she saw Yoel, she politely greeted him, “Mister Fulton, you’re here. Good morning.”

Yoel nodded. “Morning.” A new batch of ponies had arrived at the racecourse in the northern suburb.
Yoel was actually here to ask Sage to go and have a look together. Otherwise, he would not have
walked through the entrance of the Norah Residence so arrogantly and sat here as if it was his own
home.

Melody was holding a bun in her hand. Her child-like face was staring eagerly at Yoel. “Mister Fulton?
What is your full name?”



Yoel stared at Melody’s chubby cheeks, and he had an itch to pinch them, so he did it. His lovely eyes
were radiating with gentle rays. “Kid, my name is Yoel Fulton. You probably have never heard of my
first name.”

Melody looked adorably confused. She then looked toward Leah and asked, “Aunt Leah, is he calling
me uncultured?” Leah could not help but laugh. She dipped her finger into the water and spelled out
Yoel’s name on the table. “Do you know this word?”

“I do.” Melody nodded. “Isn’t it supposed to be Joel?” Yoel almost spat out his milk. He widened his
eyes in disbelief from that comment. Was this girl really silly or just acting silly?
