At the mention that Jace had to undergo cranial surgery, Freya’s face turned white and she nearly fell
off her wheelchair.

Lucas reached out his hand to hold her. “Freya!”

“Aunt Freya.”

Sage too went up to Freya to help her. At the sight of Freya’s disoriented expression, Sage felt her
heart drop.

the professors in the hospital are allowed to carry out the surgery. But all of our professors are away for
a conference and other neurosurgeons have a tightly packed schedule … What if you look for another
hospital instead?” Jace’s situation could not wait any longer. The more they dragged it out, the more

Freya and Lucas immediately started making phone calls to neurosurgeons whom they were
acquainted with.

Aunt Wendy looked worried. “It’d be great if we could ask a favor from Doctor Grace. It was Doctor
Grace who saved Jace that year after the accident. Miss Freya, is it possible for us to get in touch with



Doctor Grace?”



Ross, Kane, and Luther all turned to look at Sage.

Freya was about to make a call when Sage came over to hold her hand.

“Let me do it, Aunt Freya,” Sage said softly. Freya looked surprised. “Sage sweetie, do you know
Doctor Grace? Will you be able to get her here?”

“Yes.”

Sage then added, “I’m Doctor Grace.”

Freya and Aunt Wendy froze.

Even Lucas who was on the phone turned to look at Sage with a look of disbelief on his face.

Sage was Doctor Grace?

The doctor who saved Jace?

There was a loud silence in the room.

Freya, Aunt Wendy, and Lucas stared at Sage. They felt like they did not know Sage. There was a
flicker in Ross’s eyes. He walked over to Sage and placed his hand on her shoulders.

“Are you sure about this?”

Sage looked at him, then looked at Kane and Luther who all looked worried.



She then replied firmly, “It’s just a small operation.”

Sage patted Ross’s hands, hinting to him that there was nothing he needed to worry about.

She then said to the doctor who was also stunned by the fact that Sage was Doctor Grace, “I’d need to
thank you for allowing me to use the resources here at your hospital. Pass me the patient’s details. My
team will be here soon. Will you please escort them?”

The doctor stuttered, “Oh… yes, sure!”

Doctor Grace was actually at their hospital?

The doctor reminded himself that he had to inform the professors right away.
