“We come to share your happiness.” Jace stiled gently and said to Sage, “You look very beautiful
today.” Sage was wearing a sapphire blue velvet-wrapped dress today. She tied her hair up into a high
ponytail that emphasized the beauty of lier long and straight neck, toned and lean shoulder, and
collarbone. Other than a pair of pearl earrings, she did not wear any other jewelry. Despite that, she
looked like she was glowing like a princess from fairy tales, so elegant and noble.

Since she arrived at the celebration party, she has received numerous compliments. However, a
woman would never reject any compliments she received. Thus she accepted the compliment from
Jace happily, “Thank you.” Yoel disagreed and said, “Geez. You really don’t know how to socialize.
Sage is always so beautiful.”

Jace gave Yoel a disdainful look. “Yes, you know it very well.”

“Of course,” Yoel gloated. Then he looked at Jace and Sage again, “Oh my. Someone is wearing a blue
color suit too. Did you both do it on purpose? Dressing up together like a couple’s outfit?

‘Of course not!” Sage did not know Jace was coming today. ‘But…we really do look very matching with
his blue suit and my dress.’

It was like they had already planned ahead of time on what to wear. Moreover, Jace had worn a pair of
pearl cuffs to complete his outfit today. It looked very familiar, like a birthday present Sage gave it to
him a few years ago.

Sage did not know he was still keeping the birthday present. She thought he had lost it or misplaced it
somewhere. As she was thinking, Jace took out a rectangular velvet gift box from his pocket and
passed it to Sage. “This is for you.”



Sage was stunned, “What is it?”



“A gift. Open it,” He said calmly. Sage did as she was told. She opened it and saw it contained a
hairpin. It was silver in color with two flowers engraved together, a blue color flower and a red color
flower. The pattern was very intricate and exquisite and the skill of the engraving was very skillful. With
just a look, Sage knew her grandpa had engraved it. “My grandpa did this?” Sage was not surprised.
Jace was astonished by Sage’s judgment. “That’s right. I drew the pattern out and found a good piece
of raw material. Then I requested Grandpa Wayne to help with the engraving. He even scolded me for
creating trouble for him.” Sage gazed at the pattern of the hairpin intensively. “You…drew this by
yourself?” “Great!” Yoel responded first, “How dare you say such a lie just to make Sage happy?
Anyway, I don’t believe it. Do you believe it, Sage?” Then he took a look at Sage and immediately said
no more.

Obviously, Sage believed Jace was the one who drew it. However, Sage would not believe it if Jace
had told her this previously. Ever since she knew Jace was the one who imitated The Starry Night, his
drawing skill was at the professional level in her heart. If Jace could imitate The Starry Night, the
pattern of this hairpin was just a piece of cake to Jace.

“The drawing is quite rough. I hope you don’t mind.” It was the first time Jace attempted drawing a
pattern for such a small object. He was not very confident with himself.

Sage answered, “It looks quite good.”

After that, she took the hairpin out of the gift box. Due to the silver material, it felt quite chilly and heavy.
She tried to put it onto her hair. “Let me help you.” Jace volunteered and took the hairpin from her
hand. Then he personally pinned the hairpin onto her hair. It matched very well with Sage’s outfit, as if
it was part of the outfit.



Sage lowered her head, and her cheek was blushing shyly. Yoel was stunned when he saw it. He had a
feeling like he had suddenly become the third wheel. ‘Should I go?’ He took a sip of the champagne
and looked in another direction, where he saw a pretty girl standing not far away. She was chatting
happily with Dean. Yoel narrowed his eyes until they looked like a pair of lines.
