The leader of the group, Scarface, could not believe how skilled Sage was when it came to knives. The
gaping wound on his chest hurt madly, and his face twisted in pain. He could no longer hide his pain

Scarface spat on the ground and bellowed “You b*tch, I’m going to kill you!”

As he was spittang out his threat, Sage grabbed his wrist and gave it a forceful twist. The veins and
muscles tore, and he shrieked i n pain, falling to the ground

Sage coldly asked him in a low voice, “Who sent you here?”

“Sage punched him to the ground. Mud filled his mouth as he cursed. Sage caught his arms and jerked
them back.”

The cry scared all the birds in the woods, and in a flurry of rustling and movement, they took off.

Seartace’s arms lay at a weird angle. They looked as if they were broken. He was sweating buckets,
and the other hijackers were too stunned to make a move.

Sage, still unfazed, said “I’m going to ask you one more time. Who sent you?”

She brandashed her dagger, looking as if she was about to carve another scar into his face. Scarface
completely lost it at this point. He gasped through gritted teeth, “Brody… Brody Liam. Heir to Starlight
Media. He wanted us to teach you a lesson.”

Sage responded with, “Oh, that guy.”

“So, how do you know who I am?”



Scarface answered, “We know. You are the eldest child in the Norah family.”

“Good that you know,” Sage said. “At least you know who you’re up against.”

Sage lifted her foot off him, turned around, and saw Jace standing a few feet away from her. She
glanced at him and said, “Do you have a cellphone?”

Jace handed over his phone.



“Pull up the camera,” she said, ordering him as if he were no more than her assistant.

Sage pointed at a hijacker and snapped, “Your leader is badly wounded, do you think you are able to
defeat me now? Get over here and kneel alongside your leader.”

The bijackers looked terrified. Blood poured from their wounds, and the thought of dying from blood
loss terrified them. A few centimeters deeper down and they might even lose their intestines.

This woman is scarier than Satan himself.

They glanced at the men that Jace had brought with them and realized that there was no chance of
them winning.

What more could they do, when their leader had already admitted defeat? All of them surrendered
immediately.

“Please, Miss Norah, we were only following orders. This was nothing personal. Please have mercy,
and let us go!” they begged.

“Let you go? What an unrealistic request!”



The voice of the person who made the comment was strong. Mr. K and his subordinates rushed to the
scene and immediately surrounded Sage, protecting her. “Miss Norah, is everything alright?” asked Mr.
K. his voice filled with worry.

Lage shook her head and responded, “Just a few nobodies. I would not have troubled you had I known
that it would be such an easy job.” She waved her hand and said to her subordinates, “Step aside.*

Upon receiving their ordern, Norah residences’ staff stood aside and left the hijackers at the scene

*Repeat what you said earlier,” instructed Sage to the hijackers.

Acting as director, Sage instructed the cameraman, Jace, to record a video of the hijackers’ confession.
They confessed to their actions, and they also confessed the identity of their employer. It was not
professional, but it would suffice as evidence.
