Chapter 292

By the time she reached downstairs, Yoel got off the horse. With his arms wide open, Yoel
walked over to Sage, wanting to hug her. “Happy birthday, Sage darling!” He came to a stop in front of
Sage only to be pushed away by her.

Sage could only see the white horse in front of her. It was a beautiful horse. Its fur was clean, soft, and
glistening under the sunlight. At the sight of Sage, the horse raised its front hoof, greeting Sage
friendly. Sage’s eyes lit up as she stroked the horse. With a surprised look on her face, she asked, “IS
this a Cremello?”

Yoel looked even more surprised than her. Holding up his thumb, he said, “How did you even know?”

Leah too followed Sage downstairs. It was her first time encountering a horse and she was rather afraid
to approach it. “Sage, its eyes…”

Hunter said, “It’s a Cremello, one of the rarest breeds of horse. Cremellos have creamy skin, blue eyes,
and rose pink skin.” Lean nodded in awe. At the same time, Sage already got onto the horse’s back.
With a swift move, she looked comparable to a charismatic female warrior. Stroking the horse, Sage
asked, “How much does she cost? I’ll buy it from you.” Yoel looked heartbroken. “Why are you bringing
up money? I got this for you, as your birthday gift. As long as you promise to stop being mad at me and
are willing to continue being friends with me, I’d be happy enough.”, Even though Sage knew that Yoel
was trying to flatter her, she liked the present. “Alright then.” Yoel was over the moon

Sage was the one receiving a present but Yoel looked more excited than her.

be Yoel seemed to have a lot of free time on his hands. He stayed at Rosa Garden for almost half a





day, with no intention of leaving. Sage bathed the horse in the yard and named it Milky. After bathing it,
she left Milky under Mister K’s care.

The sun set and Sage guessed that her brothers would be arriving soon. She then started getting ready
to head out. Following her closely, Yoel said, “I heard that you’re having your birthday party at Tasteful
Restaurant? Can I join?”

“No,”

Sage rejected him outrightly.

Yoel was heartbroken again. “Why not?” In a cold voice, Sage replied, “Because it’s a family event.”
“Exactly. It’s a family event hence the more that I should be present too.” Catching up to Sage, Yoel
walked backward with his front-facing her and added, “In any case, I’m considered as one of your
potential partners and I should take this chance to introduce myself to your brothers. I should see if I
stand a chance to advance being your partner.”

Sage came to a stop and shot a cold glare at Yoel. “How do you even manage to sugar-coat such
shameless words?” Shrugging his shoulders, Yoel replied, “Because I don’t care?” Coldly, Sage replied,
“Don’t flatter yourself, Yoel. You don’t even have what it takes to be considered as one of my potential
partners.” Pushing him aside, Sage seethed, “Get lost!”

Yoel was, on the other hand, relentless. “But really, let me meet your brothers, hmm? Who knows, they
might like me and give us their blessings, right?” Sage scoffed, “Try getting approval from Kane first.”
She then left without even looking back Yoel was stopped by Mister K at the door. At the thought of
Kane Hudson, Yoel’s confidence dropped. He knew that it would be hard to get Kane’s approval.
However, Yoel comforted himself that he would stand a higher chance compared to Jace.
