The psychiatry hospital sent a few medical assistants as per Hunter’s request, and they formed a circle
around Sienna.

Sienna was terrified and she yelled, “Don’t listen to her! I’m not some sick person. I’m normal!”
However, the more she struggled, the more she seemed like one.

“Hold her down! Administer the tranquilizer if you have to!” Having almost caught her, Sienna quickly
rushed into Jace’s arms and cried hysterically, “Jace, I just missed you so much and wanted to see
you. You said you’ll protect me forever…”

Sage observed her antics like she was an outsider.

Forever?

For a man who never made promises, Jace must have loved her very much to promise her a forever.

Sienna held on to Jace so tightly that he could not move an inch.

He looked up at Sage and met her already distant eyes. It was as though she grabbed him by his heart
and he could not breathe.

He knew by one glance that everything he did in the past week had gone down the drain.

That beating he took earlier was all for nothing

Sage looked away and said to Hunter, Let’s go.”

“Sage!” Jace called her name loudly as he saw her back, but Sienna was still clutching onto him, and
the medical staff surrounded them. Jace felt helpless.

Sage disappointingly disappeared into the crowd



She was brisk walking, and Hunter almost could not catch up without a small jög. Suddenly, Sage
bumped into a stranger. “Sorry,” Sage apologized with her head down, the stranger grabbed her by the
waist

As she was about to lose it, “Hey little red riding hood, is there a big bad wolf chasing you?” A gentle
yet familiar voice sounded. Sage was stunned, and she slowly looked up. The man was in a baseball
cap and had a mask on. Still, the material could not hide his handsome features.

Sage felt a lump in her throat and she meekly called out “Hey…”

She hugged him tightly.

Seth Hector sighed as he embraced her. He caressed her head with his large hands and said, “Did
someone wrong our little princess? Was it that Yuriel guy again?”

Sage dared not say a word.

“Don’t worry, I’m here for you.” Seth said looking at her, “Say, should we put him in a gunny sack
again?”

He managed to turn her frown into a smile as she laugh, “That’s a dumb idea!”

Seth laughed along with her and caressed her head again. Seth’s assistant looked around anxiously,
worried that his award winning movie star of a boss was getting his photos taken by the paparazzi. It



would be a mess if there were any here. “Mr. Seth, let’s get back to the car. It’s too crowded in here,”
said his assistant
