Chapter 315

Jaxon was stunned. He never bet on that happening to him. He quickly thanked and
bowed to Sage after his manager nudged him.

“Thank you very much, Miss Sage. I’ll never let you down!” What would happen to his character,
Johann, if he were to be Erik? Sage said, “We need someone to be Johann. Uncle Lincoln, I’d like to
recommend someone to you. His name is Xavier. What do you think?”

Though she recommended it, Sage practically forced Xavier into Lincoln’s hands. Of course, everyone
knew Lincoln would not take just anyone since he answered to no one, but to everyone’s surprise,
Lincoln was fine with it.

“Xavier. Is he Florence’s nephew?”

Sage nodded and replied, “Yes, he’s also with Norastar Entertainment now.” Sage never thought of
hiding the fact that she wanted her people in the movie. Who could say anything? That is the world of
capitalism, and cash was king. Lincoln said calmly without a temper, “Alright. We can try him out. What
time can he arrive tomorrow?”

“Early in the morning,” Sage answered. “Alright. We’ll wrap up today, everyone. Go get some rest,”
Lincoln announced as he stood up, put down his speaker, and turned back to Sage. “Dinner?”

“No problem,” Sage answered. Lincoln raised a brow and said, “You’re cooking?”

“Fine by me,” Sage answered.



She had to pay Lincoln back for what he did, as he kept a good demeanor in front of everybody.
However, Lincoln was extremely picky when it came to food. He was not easy to please. She booked
out the largest restaurant in Ark Mountains and treated the crew to dinner. Everyone was grateful to



Sage. As the crew went home, Jaxon returned to his hotel room, ånd the staff informed him of his room
upgrade from a standard room to a deluxe suite. Jaxon felt confused once again as he looked at his
bright, spacious room.

Sunny blabbered, “Wow! Only A-listers get to enjoy these benefits. I think Miss Sage must have fallen
for you.”

Jaxon widened his eyes. Though he thought of the same thing, his ears went red as he heard his
manager say it aloud. “Im-Impossible…”

He was no match to Dean Sylas,

Why would Sage, the wealthy heiress, suddenly be interested in a hunk like him? She would have seen
it all.

His manager was adamant about it.

“Why would you think it’s impossible? She complimented you publicly, switched your role, and gave
you a bigger room. What kind of hints do you still need? Do you need her room card too?”

Jaxon’s face turned bright red. He was not some pure and innocent boy, and in fact, he should have felt
extremely lucky to have a boss like Sage and not some beer-belly old man.

However, he felt extremely anxious and worried. Could it be..?
