Freya felt that Lucas humiliated her. Hence, she did not care to explain herself but retorted instead,
“Then are you saying that she didn’t cause any harm to my child? She did, didn’t she? So why should I
not do the same to her child?”

Lucas responded with a slap across her face. That was the first time that Lucas laid his hands on her.

Freya also slapped him. Not only did she slap him, but she also broke everything in the house that she
could lay her hands on. Like someone who lost her mind, she started yelling and screaming at Lucas.
She could not understand why the man who promised to love her and take care of her forced her to
become a crazy woman instead.

Lucas was kicked out of the house by her. Before he left, he said to her with a regretful look on his
face. “The doctor said that Luna will never be able to get pregnant anymore. This is what I owe her.”

Freya replied,” Peter and Lucas were friends from the same hometown. He moved to Nadeem City and
worked there for a few years and it was your dad who paved the way for him. I think he later got offered
a position in the government. I mean, I’ve broken things off with your father for quite some time and I
haven’t heard from Peter ever since. Perhaps they have been keeping in touch all these years. And
what did you say about Peter? That he’s a minister?” Jace nodded and added, “Anyway, he’s not that
influential. But we have to be careful about his difet

“You don’t have to let yourself be bothered by this thing with Luna. I’m already getting tired of this. I
don’t care what she and Lucas plan or want to do. I only attacked her because she wanted to hurt
Sage.”

Freya really couldn’t care less about Luna and Lucas. Just the mention of their name was enough to

Jace then went on, “Lucas somehow got Sienna and Peter together, and because of this, both Luna
and Sienna were able to be released from jail. To be fair, I’m not worried about Luna and Sienna, but

After ending the call, Zayne walked into his office and brought him some news.

He handed a pile of photos to Jace. The photos were intimate interactions between Sienna and Peter.



In the pictures, Sienna always had on a face mask. But in one of them, Jace noticed that the corners of
Sienna’s mouth were torn.

It did not seem like she was beaten up. It looked more like… bruises caused by using a mouth flail.
