Chapter 803

Sage was speechless and confused. Why would her mom teach Jace how to remove makeup? Was
their life on the island that boring?

Jace squeezed a dollop of makeup remover into his palm and rubbed it in. Then, he said to Sage,
“Close your eyes.” Sage closed her eyes and made a leap of faith. ‘Forget it! Let‘s see what he can
do!‘

Jace‘s palm was covered in thick calluses. It was a little rough when he touched her face. However, her
hand was similar to his. She was long used to that sensation.

Besides, his movement was much gentler than her own. He seemed... very skillful.

Jace started by massaging her face with his hands. He massaged in circles and added some water to
his palms. Then, he continued massaging her face and added more water again. He continued this
process until the oil–based makeup remover was emulsified into milky white foamy liquid.

“Okay. We can wash it off now.”

Sage did not dare to open her eyes. Jace led her to the sink and then treated her like a little child when
he washed the white foam off her face. He was more skillful and patient than a woman throughout the
whole process.

Finally, Jace took a cotton towel to dry Sage‘s wet face. “Okay. You can open your eyes now.”

Sage opened her eyes. She was in disbelief as she stared at her clean face with soft and supple skin
reflected in the mirror. The way he removed her makeup was cleaner than her. Jace then washed his
hands and suggested, “Is it time for skincare? Let‘s apply the toner and moisturizer?”



Sage was lost for words. She looked at the serious Jace and pressed her lips tightly. At last, she had to
ask him, “What have you learned from my mom in the past six months?”

Primrose actually had not specifically taught him about these. She just introduced him to some skin
care products and cosmetics. He learned the process of makeup removal, skincare, makeup, and
others from Sawyer.



Sawyer was often forced to help his beautiful wife with makeup removal, skincare, and makeup.
Primrose was a beauty lover, but she was often lazy. After watching it many times, Jace gradually
learned the process from Sawyer.

She did not think she would ever use this word to describe Jace. It was simply amazing. Time did

The next morning, Sage woke up with a sleepy face. She had fallen asleep at some point last night.
She felt like she did not sleep long when the alarm went off. She got out of bed in a daze and tried to

out in pain.

Someone knocked on the door immediately after her short cry of pain. “Sage, what‘s wrong?” The
