Yoel had heard of Dr. S before and admired her. After all, she saved Jace. He knew Jace was badly
injured back then. All the bones in his body had almost shattered from the accident.

Jace suffered all kinds of comminuted fractures, but the incredible Dr. S rejuvenated him piece by
piece. Since then, Yoel regarded Dr. S as a god in his heart. More importantly, Dr. Swas a lady! She
was a goddess! However, he never expected that Sage would be his goddess, Dr. S! Was Sage truly

floor. Yoel almost screamed in pain. He rubbed the back of his head in pain and glared at Jace. “Can’t
you do it gently?” “The pain will keep you awake,” Jade said. He did not feel bad for Yoel at all. Yoel
was aggrieved and stared at Jace. He did wake up immediately, but he almost died from the slap. He
complained, “You’re such a cruel man!”

Nigel was gay, but even he flinched watching Jace and Yoel’s interaction.





“If you want to flirt, please go outside. Don’t be an eyesore and a disturbance to the patient,” said Sage.

Sage stopped bothering with them. She checked Asher’s current condition and deduced that most
were the same as the medical records. She also manually revised some discrepancies in

the records.

Sage’s handwriting was different from a doctor’s typical flamboyant handwriting. She wrote neatly,
making her handwriting easy to read. Jace watched her write, and his heart thumped uncontrollably.
“The surgery will begin at ten o’clock. You may get ready.” Sage put the medical records away. She
turned to the door and nodded at Lulu, who looked very nervous. At last, she walked out of the ward
with Nigel and the rest.

As soon as they went out, Nigel asked casually and calmly, “Was that man in black your ex husband,
Jace?”



“Yeah,” Sage answered with an expressionless face. A few years ago, Nigel had seen pictures of Jace.
He knew Sage had been secretly in love with Jace for many years and did her best to nurse him back
to health. Naturally, he recognized Jace too.

“Well, nice to meet him in person.” Nigel pretended to sigh emotionally and immediately changed his
tune, “It seems like his IQ is pretty low.”
