Hunter shivered as he felt a cold chill. ‘Mister Jace is really very talented. He always
knows how to be the center target of Miss Sage’s aim.’

Sage kept silent for a moment and said coldly, “Send someone to wait at the exit of the train station.
Send him to the hospital immediately after he arrives.” Hunter hesitated, “What if Mister Jace refused
and fought with the people we sent?” Sage looked fiercely and yelled, “How dare he!” Hunter quickly
replied, “No… he doesn’t dare…”

After that, he quickly sent someone to the train station. He did not know if Jace dared to reject going to
the hospital, but he knew he would be the one missing the sunrise tomorrow if he did not complete the
mission.

It was already evening when the train arrived at Salem City. The sun was almost down. Under the
companionship of his assistant and bodyguards, Jace slowly walked out of the train station. Just as he
was at the exit, another group of people approached them and quickly surrounded them.

Zayne got scared and quickly stood in front of Jace together with the bodyguards. “Who are you? What
are you trying to do?”

“Are you Mister Yuriel?”

On the other hand, Jace remained calm. He raised his head a little to show his eyes under the black
cap. “I am. Did Sage send you here?”

“Yes.” The man said, “Miss Sage has arranged a hospital for you. She gave you two choices. One, you
follow us without any objection, and two, let us knock you out and take you away.” Zayne and the
bodyguards were displeased to hear it. Did the man just ignore them? Did the man think of them as just
decorative items?



Jace did not have any intention to resist. He said calmly, “I’ll go with you.”

When they were moving outside, Zayne muttered, “Mister Jace, did we just lose our dignity?” There
was no shyness appearing on Jace’s face. “I want my wife, not my dignity.”

Zayne was dumbfounded. ‘Ok, I lost.’



Sage was still at the racecourse, troubleshooting all the minor problems to ensure nothing goes wrong
with the launch tomorrow. She was so busy that she had not sat down for a long time and her throat felt
like it was burning from talking too much. This was not something she chose to do. Her partners were
too lame, one had a broken head, and the other one ran away at the very last minute.

Yoel, that lame guy, had already said that he would accompany Sage to supervise the racecourse.
However, he received a call from a babe just after they had landed and went missing. Sage really
wanted to take a photo of Yoel’s estrus and obscene look for Melody, so Melody could know his true
identity soon and no longer fancy him.

‘Why would Melody like this scumbag? There are more men that are better than him. Maybe

she had inherited the blindness from me.’

Hunter ran all the way over and reported to Sage while breathing heavily, “Mister Jace had arrived at
the train station and got in the car I arranged. They are heading to the hospital now. He did not show
any resistance and obeyed.”

Sage did not feel any relief even after hearing it. She snorted, “Luckily, he still knows it.”



After thinking for a while, Sage was still angry. She said seriously, “Ask the hospital to arrange a full
check-up when he arrives. If there’s no major problem, give him an anti-inflammatory shot.”

Hunter noted everything down and was about to send the message out. Before that, Sage quickly
added, “Jab it on his buttock.”

‘Did I hear that correctly?’ Hunter was shocked, and his head shook. He wanted to laugh. “Is it
appropriate for an adult to get jabbed at the buttock?”

Sage glared at him coldly. “Do you think it’s appropriate for an adult to sneak out of the hospital after a
cranial surgery?” Hunter was out of words.
