looked way better when he was not being all emotional with her about their past relationship.

Sage had witnessed countless couples who had sworn to ‘love unconditionally’, ‘forever and always’,
but when trouble came knocking, they would always prioritize themselves over their partners.

Jace had always been intelligent and capable, but when he was in front of Sage, it was as if none of his
intelligence and capabilities mattered. She made him realize how small and incompetent he was.

though he was physically there with them, his heart and soul had flown away with Laura.

Nigel sat cross-legged on the couch, texting Sean. The lawyer had been turned into a choreman by
him. Sean had been requested to bring Nigel all sorts of stake-outs.

On the other hand, Luther was still sulking over being scolded by Tim. His sports car had been
