my room, and presumed the whole scenario by yourself?

Sage knew the dinner has come to an end upon hearing his frustration.



“Mr. Yuriel, I have no interest in your private life. You don’t owe me any explanation. I’m just saying all
these to assure you that I want no part of the three-way relationship,

“You just don’t trust me anymore,” said Jace as his pupils constricted.

Sage smiled and said as she shook her head lightly, “I just need you, Mr. Yuriel, to be my most
trustable business partner. I don’t need to care about my partner’s private matters. Just don’t involve
me ever again.”

Jace understood she was telling him that they were never getting back together.

He was one-sided on that intention.

“Got it,” Jace stared at her quietly and said coldly, “I won’t ask again.”

Sage replied, “That’s for the best.”

There was no point in staying anymore. They stood up and left Tasteful Restaurant.

Sage said to Jace as she was about to get in the car, “Yoel should be in Salem City by now. We should
arrange a visit to the turf club together and go over the details.”

Jace nodded and said, “Make it tomorrow. I’m going back to Nadeem City tomorrow. I’ll get someone
else to attend the meeting.”



“80 soon?” Sage sounded slightly surprised, but still asked Jace, “The Rose Festival is happening in a
few days, you should stay for a few more days to enjoy the event if you’re interested.” The night was
getting dark, Jace looked at Sage and said, “Do you wish for me to stay?”
