now!” Jace got up with a start and ran out immediately,

Luther faintly heard somo loud noises from the call, but not the conversation. He shouted at Jace from
behind, “What happened? You’re not waiting for Sage anymore?” Yale got up after Jace. He said to
Luther with grom eyes, “Something happened on Jeykll’s side, I’ll go over there you wait here for
Sage.”

“Mister Jace, what’s wrong? Did something happen?”

Zayne saw Jace running out of the walting room in a panic. He just came back from deploying Inis stall
and went alter Jace, Jace sald in a deep volce, “Jekyll’s men ambushed the police. They’re fighting
now. Get our men to rush over there now! They’re nearby Ark Mountains… Give me the car keys!”
“Okay, I’ll get on it… What about you? Mister Jace!” Zayne gave Jace the car keys. Then, Jace ran out
the door in a hurry. Zayne tried to follow him but failed to stop him, so he had to gather his men again.
As soon as Jace turned around, a tall figure whooshed past him. Jace grabbed the car keys and got in
the car. Just as he put on the seat bell, Yale opened the passenger door and got in. “What are you
doing here?” Jace frowned. Yale urged, “Cut the crap and drive.” Indeed, it was not the right time to talk
Jace started the engine, turned the steering wheel, and drove out of the parking lot. He put his leg
down, and the car flew on the highway at high speed, As they sped to the foot of the Ark mountains, all
they saw was the bloody scene with bodies lying around. There were deafening noises in their ears.
Yale pulled out two guns from behind and loaded the magazines. He gave one to Jace. “Take this.”

Jace accepted it openly. He was about to stop the car when he saw a car speeding toward them from
the opposite side.

The man in the driver’s seat was Jekyll.



He had a twisted and bloodthirsty grin on his bearded face. His shoulder and chest were shot and
bleeding. Blood was dripping from his forehead too. However, the taste of blood only made him
crazier.

Jekyll stepped on the gas and recklessly drove over the bodies on the ground, rushing forward. Jace
looked at the oncoming car and knew it was too late to evade. He only had one thought in his head.

Sage used herself as bait to get Jekyll arrested. He must not let him get away just like that!

With a gunshot, the car tire made a loud screech, Jace turned the steering wheel hard, only to hear a
loud bang that plerced the sky and the mountains,



Cole and Zayno, who rushed over, watched as the Benzicy flew off, flipped a few times, and landed
headfirst on the ground.

The people who came from all directions rushed over as the siren blared around like the song of the
dead.

Sage and the rest finally landed safely and got off the plane.

It was a beautiful day with good weather in Salem City. Sage came down from the ladder and
stretched. She was unsure if she was overstretched. All she felt was a sudden shudder in her heart,
and her eyes went black.

She almost sainted, but Tim helped her in time and kept her steady. He looked at her withi concern,
“What’s wrong?”



Sage steadied herself with Tim’s hand and shook her head. “I’m fine. Maybe I have low blood sugar. I
feel a little dizzy.”

Hearing that, Seth hurriedly turned back to the plane. He requested some chocolates from the flight
attendant and gave them to Sage.

Sage munched the chocolate in big bites. For some reason, it became more and more bitter in her
mouth. The weird feeling in her heart would not go away. “Why do you look so pale?” Seth stared at
Sage’s ashen face and frowned. “Why don’t you go back in and rest for a while?”

“I’m fine. Let’s go. Maybe the sun is too hot. Let’s get out of here first. Jekyll and the rest should be
here soon.”

Sage managed a smile and walked out with her brothers. She saw Luther waiting at the exit from a
distance. The group waved at him.1 Luther saw them, but he looked strange. He looked unhappy.
“Luther, what’s wrong? Are you scared to see Tim?” Sage joked with him. They got out of the airport
and wanted to tease Luther a little more. However, Luther held Sage’s shoulder, his eyes red. He said
hurriedly, “Sage, promise me. You have to hold on. You still have us, and we’ll always be with you.”
“What’s wrong with you? Have you gone crazy?” Sage was confused and raised her hand to check
Luther’s temperature on the forehead. “You don’t have a fever.” Tim saw that something was wrong. He
asked with grim eyes, “What’s going on?”

Luther’s eyes were red and teary. He looked at Sage, unable to say anything Sage’s phone suddenly
rang loudly. She held her phone, but she almost dropped her phone. Her heart was pounding loudly.

She picked up and listened to the other party. She stiffened as she listened to the call. Then, the phone
dropped to the ground and shattered into pieces.
