Sage nodded in agreement and said, “That sounds great. Mostal is indeed a beautiful place. The
weather is great, and the sceneries are out of this world. It’s definitely heaven on earth.” “It’s even more
tempting now that you put it that way.” Freya’s eyes sparkled with hope and excitement as she tugged
on Sage’s sleeve. Her usual strong and independent woman demeanor was nowhere to be seen.

Sage laughed happily, not a trace of annoyance on her face. It had been a while since she had a heart-
to-heart conversation with Freya.

“Look at me, I’m such a talker.”

Freya became self-aware and stopped herself from talking. “You really do become more talkative the
older you get.”

“Not at all. I enjoy talking to you.” Sage chuckled lightly.

Freya stared affectionately at Sage, having so much love for her.

“Back then, all I wanted was a daughter. When I found out that I was having a son, I was really
disappointed. Boys are such a hassle to raise. Girls, on the other hand, are caring and loving.” “That’s
not entirely true.”

“My mother always used to tell me that she wished I was more caring and thoughtful, like my brothers.”

Freya could not help but laugh out loud. “I knew your mother. She was such an exceptional woman, not
just in her beauty but in her abilities as well. She was inspirational.” Freya reminisced and sighed. “She



was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in my life. It was as if every single strand of her hair could
glow.” “You’re exaggerating. Her beauty was only for show. She was a tiger at home.” “What do you
mean?” Freya asked.

“Feisty.” Freya paused briefly and started laughing gleefully.



Freya wiped the happy tears off the corner of her eyes and said, “I guess she had to have some temper
in order to be the leader of the house. Primrose was truly the one person that I looked up to. Sage’s
eyes glowed, and she said, “What a coincidence, she said the same thing to me before.” “Really?”
Freya’s eyes sparkled in anticipation. “You’re just trying to flatter me, aren’t you?” Sage smiled lightly.

Primrose had indeed said something along that line in the past.

“There is not a single capable man in the Yuriel family, aside from Grandpa Yuriel. All the other men are
idiots. Miss Yuriel, on the other hand, is up to my standards, albeit barely.” However, Sage was not
going to say that to Freya, of course. She refused to be as offensive as her mother.

In the midst of their conversation, Freya’s blanket that had been covering her lap slipped onto the
ground. Sage bent over to pick it up.

“The weather is warm. Why are you still using such a thick blanket?”

“This blanket was gifted by you. I really like it because it was sewn by you.”

Sage folded the blanket and said, “I’ll sew you a new one with silk. It’s a cooler material.”

“Don’t trouble yourself with so much work.” Freya said with a trace of guilt on her face, “I didn’t know
how much time it takes to sew a blanket until a few days ago when I met up with an old friend. Her



family is in the sewing business, and she was surprised by how intricate the workmanship was. She
refused to believe it was handsewn and told me that this sort of skill would take decades to master.”

Sage nodded calmly and said, “I started sewing when I was five, so it’s been more or less two
decades.”

“Five?” Freya was surprised. She thought about what her son did when he was five. He was… busy
playing with dirt and fighting with other children in the backyard. Sigh, education really does have to
start at a young age.
