Chapter 28: A Good Man Who Is Tall, Rich and Good-looking

This sentence reminded Viola of something.

Indeed, Joseph was a person who always persisted in his own way without thinking about what others
said. It seemed like he was openly obedient to Harrison’s words but privately, he might still do what he
wanted. So, to ensure the marriage would be successful, she only needed to make sure that Joseph
would not change his mind.

That night, Joseph and his son stayed at the old mansion the whole night.

Joseph originally thought that Harrison had something to tell him but after Harrison received a call, he
directly waved his hand to let the maids clean up the room. Then, he locked himself in the study.

“Grandpa has been busy lately?” Joseph glanced at the butler suspiciously.

The butler said calmly and steadily.

“Sir recently often contacts with friends but I’m not very clear about the details. You stay here first, the
young master, just wait for sir to finish his call.”

However, the phone call lasted until midnight. Joseph had already read a whole English book to Noah
and Noah finally fell asleep. Joseph also kept yawning. He looked at the clock and saw that it was
eleven o’clock. He decided not to wait any longer and just directly hit the sack.

At the midnight, Hayden got up to drink water. When she was in the living room, she saw that the light
of Stella’s room was still on. She immediately frowned and walked over.

Stella’s voice of talking sounded in the room.

“You’ve never told me that there is such a person, so troublesome. If you’ve told me about it, I won't let
my mommy go there, it’s too troublesome.”



Hayden directly opened the door. She frowned and asked.

“Stella, what’re you doing at the midnight, why haven’t you hit the hay?”

Stella hurriedly hung up the phone. She turned her head and her face looked panicked. Her pair of
pupils were moving.

“Nothing, I’m on the phone with Alayna.”

Hearing this, Hayden’s eyes lit up, “Is it? I have something to tell her, give me the phone, I’ll talk with
her for a while.”

“No.” Stella hid the phone behind her, “It’s already hung up, she says she’s going to sleep now.”

“Huh?”

Hayden was slightly disappointed but she did not suspect anything more.

“Fine, you quickly hit the sack. It’s already very late, kids should sleep early.”

“Got it.” Stella nodded but her eyebrows were furrowed and she looked worried, “Mommy, I’ve just
learnt bad news, do you want to know?”

Hayden’s face stiffened.

“Your nominal mother has fought with her client again?”

Although Alayna’s name sounded like she was a gentle person, her personality was not gentle at all.
She had a fiery temper and was good at martial arts. If she encountered a client with a temper that she
detested, it was a common thing that she would hit the client.

At that moment, Hayden was a little nervous.



“No.” Stella shook her head repeatedly, “Not Alayna’s matter, but Mommy’s matter.”

“Me?”

Hayden pointed to her own nose.

“Yes.” Stella nodded and sighed with a crying face, “Mommy, I think your second marriage is not going
to happen anymore.”

“Second marriage?” Hayden was confused.

“I hear that your boss, Joseph is going to get married.”

Hearing this, Hayden was slightly stunned.

The matter that Joseph was going to marry Viola was spread all over the group recently and it really
sounded like a true fact. Also, Viola had been frequently going to the group headquarters recently and
she totally did not care about the gossip news. Joseph also seemingly did not have the will to explain it,
so everyone just tacitly thought that it was true.

But what did the matter that Joseph was going to get married have to do with herself?

“What do you mean?”

“Mister is handsome and wealthy. He’s a good man who is tall, rich and good-looking. If Mommy
marries him, I’ll be able to lead a comfortable life. But everything is too late. As you don’t seize the
opportunity, he’s going to get married with others.”

Now only Hayden understood what she meant. This little girl had not given up to find a husband for her.

Being amused, she poked Stella’s head and said.



“What kind of ideas are you having in your little brain? What does it matter to me whether he’s getting
married or not? He’s just my boss, don’t think about something that is not likely to happen, go to bed
now.”

Stella crawled back into her bed and hit the sack. She was feeling sad as the golden opportunity was
lost. Hayden just shook her head with a helpless face, turned off the light and closed the door.

After that day, Hayden gradually prepared all the things needed by Stella for school. She deliberately
sent her to school early in the morning of Monday.

After all, the local schools were different from foreign ones. So, she was still slightly worried about
whether Stella could adapt to the environment well.

Coincidentally, Joseph also sent Noah to school on this day.

“Isn’t it pretty good to let Noah stay at home to have home tuition by a tutor? Why do you suddenly
want to send him to school?”

Inside the car, Viola asked a seemingly casual question.

Since Joseph mentioned the matter of marriage to her, she became more and more active in which she
paid much attention to the matters of Joseph’s family and ST Group and put much effort into them.
Especially when she heard that Noah was going to school today, she purposely went to his house early
in the morning to accompany him, showing a caring look.

“An environment with more people will help him recover better.” Joseph did not show any expression.

If it was not because Noah insisted that he wanted to go to school, Joseph actually did not intend to
send him over. There were many people in the school and a place with many people would have many
matters. By that time, he might not be able to care about all Noah’s matter.



“If Noah wants, we can give him a few younger siblings in the future, then he won’t be alone.”

After these words were uttered, Noah’s face turned pale, holding his small drawing board and quivering
inside the safety seat.

The children born of a bad woman were bound to be very bad.

Joseph’s brow also furrowed, “I have no such plan temporarily. It’s good enough to have Noah.”

These words made Viola’s face turned pale and blue.

What did he mean? Did he mean that he did not have the will to have a child with her even after
marriage?

The atmosphere in the car was not easy-going. It was fortunate that the school was not far away so
they had arrived at that moment.

The driver opened the door. Joseph held Noah’s hand and got out of the car, heading to the school
gate.

After two steps, Noah abruptly withdrew his hand from Joseph’s hand and darted towards a figure.

Hayden was talking to the assistant administrator, Rita, who came to welcome them. She suddenly felt
that her legs were embraced by something and when she looked down, she saw a good-looking face.
Noah was hugging her leg and twitching his mouth with a face with a grievance.

“Noah.” Hayden hurriedly squatted, “You’re also studying in this school, right? Why do you look
unhappy? Not awake yet?”

Noah shook his head with a grievance.

Stella, who was on the side, was excited to see Noah. She held his hand and said.



“I don’t know that you’re also here. Nice, I’ll not be alone! I’ll take care of you from now on!”

Side by side, Joseph and Viola walked over. Seeing Noah was very close to Hayden and her daughter,
Viola stared at Hayden’s side face for a long time, feeling somewhat familiar.

“Ms. Kidman.” Hayden noticed Viola and immediately stood up straight, “Hello.”

“You know me?” Viola frowned.

“Who doesn’t know the best actress by the name of Viola Kidman?” Hayden smiled, “Besides, you
checked in at ST Hotel last time and I was the one who brought people to serve you.”

“You’re an employee of ST Group?” Viola slightly froze. Out of the blue, she remembered something
and asked.

“Is Downey your surname?”
