Chapter 57: You’re Really Good Looking

A child who would be aborted in the first place could also be Michelle’s plan of retrieving her marriage.
Her plan was so thorough that even if one failed, she would have a second plan to frame Hayden. If he
hadn't known this in advance, Hayden would be blamed for the faults of Michelle all her life.

Joseph stared at the drunken woman lying beside him. He felt glad for her that she knew nothing about
this.

She looked so smart usually, but why didn’t she keep her guard up at times like this? Why did you drink
every time someone proposed a toast to you?

When he was still thinking about it, Hayden suddenly raised one of her legs up and placed it on
Joseph’s leg.

Joseph was startled. Before he could push her leg away, she lifted her hands up and directly wrapped it
around his shoulders. The next thing he knew, she was already sitting on him. She held his face and
asked drunkenly, “Who are you?”

The corner of Joseph’s lips twitched, and he muttered with difficulty, “Hayden, let go.”

It was definitely useless to reason with a drunken person. The next second, Hayden patted his cheeks
and her breath reeked of alcohol, “You can still talk!”

Joseph wanted to pull the window down and threw her out because he couldn’t stand the unpleasant
odor, but she became more enthusiastic. She sniffled loudly while hooking her hands on Joseph’s
shoulders, and twisted her body, “It’s so hot!”

“Hayden,” His voice sounded a little hoarse as he pressed her waist to stop her from moving, “Stop
moving.”

However, she didn’t realize what was wrong with her movements.



The driver took a glance at the rear-view mirror of the car. He startled as he couldn’t believe his eyes,
so he dared not look again.

Joseph’s suppressive voice sounded from the back seat.

“Return to Imperial Villa now.”

His driver understood his words and drove straight towards Imperial Villa.

As soon as they got home, Mark and the servants welcomed them.

“Where’s Alayna?” Joseph asked.

“Young master, Ms. Cole said it was getting late. She had already taken Stella home a moment ago.”

Joseph nodded slightly, and he didn’t ask a word about Viola.

The servants saw Hayden lying inside the car, so they quickly went to help her. However, Joseph
brushed them off and carried Hayden in his arms. He sent her to the bedroom on the second floor that
she had lived before.

Everyone was shocked to see that.

Mark glanced at them, “What are you looking at? I’ve told you before that to work here, sometimes it’s
best to pretend that you haven’t seen anything. Understood?”

The servants left and continued doing their own duty. Mark looked at the closed door on the second
floor, and silently took out his phone,

“Mister, young master brought Ms. Downey home. Both of them were drunk.”

“...”



“Yes, they’re in the room together. They hasn’t come out yet.”

“...”

After putting Hayden down on the bed in the guest room, Joseph wanted to go out and find a servant to
clean her up. As soon as he got up, his sleeve was grabbed and he stumbled.

“Water.”

Hayden grabbed his sleeve and murmured, “So thirsty.”

Joseph frowned. He suppressed the discomfort of his body and said with a hoarse voice, “Hayden, if
you’re thirsty, you need to let go of me first so that I can get water for you.”

He didn’t really know if she understood his words. After a moment, she finally let go.

There was a kettle and glasses on the table in the room. Joseph poured a glass of water for her. Then,
he directly placed it on the bedside and said, “I’ve placed it on the bedside. Drink it when you’re feeling
better.”

After that, he turned away to leave the room.

After walking a few steps, a rustle sounded behind him. He turned around and saw a hand touching
along the bedside, hooking the corner of the glass.

“Be careful...”

Before he could finish his words, the water splashed over the bedside as the glass fell on the bed. The
water was sprinkled all over her.

“Ah!” She exclaimed. She suddenly struggled in bed and shouted, “I can’t swim...”



Joseph frowned as he felt pissed but funny.

“Save me...”

Her loud cry made Joseph laugh. What if the servants outside could hear her?

He quickly moved towards her and covered her mouth. He muttered in a low voice, “Alright now. You
didn’t fall into the water. What’s the swimming for?”

She stared at him with her blurry and innocent eyes, as if she was a frightened deer.

Joseph felt his heart pounding and beating much faster than usual.

“I feel hot.”

“Don’t move.”

Joseph’s voice sounded really hoarse.

She suddenly reached for his neck. Then, she flipped over and pressed Joseph under her. Hayden
held Joseph’s face and said drunkenly, “You’re really good looking.”

Joseph stunned for a moment, as he obviously didn’t expect that Hayden would treat him like this. His
gaze was fixed on her as she became closer in his eyes.

Her lips had the fragrant smell of red wine, and it was moist.

Not knowing how many times it had been, Joseph pressed her on the pillow. He vaguely felt that it
seemed so familiar.

All of a sudden, some vivid memories flashed through his mind.



“Ahh, ahh...”

It was the memory of that night six years ago, in the pitch-black room.
