Chapter 194: I’m Helping Him

Soon after Michael went upstairs, Sofia came down.

Chelsea who was reading a magazine on the sofa immediately stood up when she heard Sofia’s
walking sound. “Mum.”

“You gave me a shock.” Sofia gasped.

Seeing that there was nothing in her mother’s hand, Chelsea shivered.

In the study, Michael gave the revised inheritance to Brook to look over and confirmed, “If there’s no
problem, now we just need the person concerned to sign it.”

“Then I’ll take it down later and give Chelsea to sign.”

“No need.” Brook swept a glance at the pot of soup by his side. “Just ask her to sign it this weekend.”

“Okay.”

After Michael left, Brook picked up the small bowl in his hand. The chicken soup was glistening with oil,
and there were ginseng, black-bone chicken, and maybe some other ingredients inside. He grinned as
if he was laughing at himself, and then drank the soup.

Since Hayden left, Noah had been living in Harrison’s house and refused to return to Joseph’s house.
Joseph was very annoyed as he was worried about his son, but he did not want to go to Harrison’s
house as Harrison would ask him about Hayden.

Harrison knew that Hayden resigned from the company during the day. He also heard the rumors in the
company from different authorities.



“Did you forget how Ms. Sanchez treated you before this? Did you break up with Hayden because of
that woman? Hayden was such a good woman. I think you are obsessed with Ms. Sanchez.”

Harrison thumped the table, looking sad. “No wonder I say Noah was always listless this month and so.
He’s trying to hide the story from me, right?”

Joseph didn’t say anything. He waited for Harrison to finish scolding him and only opened his mouth.
He said hurriedly, “This is my business. You can’t control me.”

“Why can’t I control you?”

Harrison was furious, “You’re my only grandchild, and you are making the family ashamed by hooking
up with many women.”

“What? Do you want to threaten me by using the company again, just like you always did before?”

Joseph purposely showed a blank look and he did not intend to make Harrison angry. It was only he
didn’t know how to deal with his relationship with Hayden, which had made him upset for a long time.

“Threaten you?” Harrison coldly snorted, “I will not do that.”

Joseph was speechless.

“The seafood company in Ningpo City had a lot of problems recently. Many customers had complained
about the substandard seafood. Go there and see what’s going on there.”

“I think this is not appropriate.” Mark who was at the side pleaded before Joseph replied.

“The climate is hot and humid over there, and it’s so far away. Now, it’s so hot, and a layer of one’s skin
will be peeled off if he or she walks around the beach. How can we let the young master go there? Just
find a reliable manager to go. I can replace him to go there if we really couldn’t find one.”



“Is it up to me or up to you?”

Harrison glared at Mark with dissatisfaction.

“Okay.” Joseph only said a word. He took his jacket and stood up. “I will go there tomorrow morning.”

“Young master…”

Mark felt helpless. Joseph was stubborn since he was small and he would not give in easily. Harrison
would also hold his ground firmly. It seemed like Joseph had to go there for sure.

“Master, why do you want to let the young master go to suffer this?”

Mark sighed, “Young master is more than thirty years old now. He knows what he is doing. Why do you
have to always be so harsh with him?”

“I’m helping him. You can’t understand.”

Harrison looked happy as if he had achieved something. He waved his hand to Noah who was in his
bedroom, “Noah, come to great-grandpa.”

Mark was surprised to see that Noah was in Harrison’s bedroom as he didn’t know when Noah had run
into Harrison’s bedroom to hide.

Noah ran to Harrison immediately. He raised his head and looked at Harrison joyfully.

“Did you hear what I say? I promised you that I will let your daddy meet with you mummy. Did I do it?”

Noah nodded his head seriously and said a word with difficulty.

“Yes.”



Harrison felt relieved as since Hayden left, Noah had been listless for a few days. He only ate a little bit
of food. Then finally Harrison called Stella one day and asked her to persuade Noah to be more
energetic, then only now he had some energy.

Now, Noah was even willing to speak with him, although it was just a simple word or phrase, Harrison
felt extremely happy as he hadn’t heard him speaking with him for years.

Harrison stroked Noah’s head, talking to him lovingly and gently.

“I have done what I promised you, so is it time for you to eat properly as well?”

“Yes.” Noah nodded his head again.

Mark understood his words and quickly informed the nanny to ask the kitchen staff to prepare some
food for Noah.

Seeing Noah devouring his food gluttonously, everyone let out a sigh of relief.

“Sir, what did you promise Little Noah?” Mark lowered his voice and asked Harrison by his side.

Harrison who was reading the newspaper raised his head and frowned when he heard his words, “Of
course I am finding a way to help my disappointing grandson to get back together with Hayden. What
else could it be?”

On the other hand, in the condominium located in the city Centre…

Hayden had just packed her luggage and put her baggage in the hallway.

“Stella, tomorrow morning Mummy will send you to Alayna’s house, and I will come back as soon as
possible. Is it okay?”



From the sofa, Stella said with a vague excitement.

“Yes, I have no problem with it. Mummy, you can go there for two more days if you want.”

“Why should I? I am not going for a holiday.”

Hayden clapped her hands.

“Faster, follow me to take a shower, and sleep earlier after you finish taking the shower. Tomorrow you
still need to get up early.”

Hayden’s clothing company was still under renovation and construction. Although it hadn’t officially
started hiring employees, she had to prepare for it first.

Alayna introduced her to a senior who she met when she was studying design at York St. John

phone booth bring you to him.”

Before leaving, Alayna reminded her again, “Please remember this. He is a bit eccentric so do not be
irritated by him.”

“Every designer is eccentric. Some even have depression!”

Hayden pulled the car door open, “Okay, you go back first. It’s still early and you can accompany Stella
to take a nap. I will go now.”



“Well, have a nice journey.”

Hayden could see Alayna waving goodbye at her from the rear mirror. She helplessly smiled, secretly
cursed her ‘crazy’ as then sped up towards the direction of Ningpo.
