Chapter 95: You Forced Me to Do This

Chelsea froze for a moment, “Dad, I’m not freaking out. I just felt that Hayden came back with no good
intentions at all. You should be careful not to be fooled by her.”

“She’s your younger sister.” Bentley frowned, “You haven’t come back for so many years. Now, you’re
back but you’re giving me this kind of attitude, what do you want to do?”

“I don’t have such a shameless sister!”

Chelsea crossed her arms with a smug look on her face, “Dad, I guess you still don’t know about the
disgraceful things that Hayden had done. At first, she lied to us that she was studying abroad, but what
happened was she simply had a child out of wedlock. She went overseas to give birth to the child and
hid it from all of us. What’s more, no one knew who the father was.”

Both Chelsea and her mother were sure that once her father knew about this, he would be furious.
However, Sofia still pretended to comfort him, “Bentley, don’t be too mad at her. I think Hayden was
simply confused. Moreover, she was too young back then.”

Hayden didn’t say a word to defend herself, but her eyes were filled with contempt and gave a mocking
sneer.

“Grandpa.”

A childish voice broke the stagnant atmosphere. It also broke the expectations of Chelsea and her
mother.

Stella ran out from the study room, her hands still holding Bentley’s most treasured antique tobacco
pipe. She was rubbing her eyes with a drowsy look, “Grandpa, I want to eat cupcakes.”

The coldness on Bentley’s face melted instantly. He bent down and pick Stella up, then he headed
downstairs, “Okay, let’s go eat cupcakes.”



Although he did not respond to Chelsea’s complaint, such an act was undoubtedly a big slap in the
face of Chelsea and her mother.

It was a slap with silence.

Chelsea’s face was livid. She could hardly believe what she had seen. She kept gritting her teeth until
Hayden was finally out of the door.

“What tactic did you use to make Dad accept this wild child of yours so easily?!”

“Chelsea Downey, keep your mouth clean.”

Hayden stared at her with cold eyes and lowered her voice, “You’re keeping a toy boy in my house?
Guess what Dad will say if he knows about it?”

Almost instantly, she saw Chelsea’s face turned white.

Hayden didn’t bother to talk to her anymore. She pulled open the car door and said: “Sir, let’s move.”

The car left, leaving Chelsea standing alone at the door. She clenched her fist tightly, as if she wanted
to embed her nails into the flesh. Her face was full of gloom.

On the other hand, Sofia was carrying a cup of tea upstairs. She heard Bentley on the phone through
the study door.

“Mr. Lennon, I’ll leave this to you then. The transfer of share rights needs to be made public, but the
transfer of real estate can be done as soon as possible.”

“Yes, you’re right. I’m sure to transfer it all to my granddaughter’s name. If it goes to Hayden, she might
not be willing to accept it.”

The elderly’s voice came out through the door gap. Sofia’s hand, which was holding the tea tray, was

“Bentley Downey, you forced me to do this.”

At night, Hayden brought Stella back to Alayna’s house.

In the middle of the night, Hayden heard voices of a man and a woman talking inside the room. Hayden
opened the door and took a glance through the gap. The scene was way too sexy and X-rated. She
quickly closed her eyes and then closed the door.

It was not a peaceful night.

The next morning, Hayden was busy making breakfast ready at the dining table. She took a deep
breath when she saw the door of Alayna’s room open.

“Wow, meat dumpling, I like it.”

Alayna looked like nothing had happened. She sat down directly on a chair, simply picked up a
dumpling and stuffed it into her mouth.

Hayden crossed her arms, “Is there nothing you want to tell me about last night? It’s the first time I’ve
seen that awkward look on Kevin’s face when he left just now.”

Kevin was the popular lover of ST Group. His face was always lit and shined with happiness, but when
he came out of Alayna’s room and saw Hayden, he actually blushed. That was such an abnormal
scene!

Alayna looked stagnant and her chewing rate became noticeably slower, “It’s just that we drank too
much last night. What’s there to say?”



“You didn’t take it seriously?”

Hayden spoke in a purposeful manner, “That’s good if you didn’t take it seriously. I don’t know Kevin,
and I’m not sure what kind of person he is. However, his reputation is not good, his girlfriends are
everywhere in Nanking. I’m just afraid if you really fall in love with him, you won’t be able to accept it.”

“Everywhere in Nanking?”

Alayna frowned and her disguise started to collapse.

Hayden secretly laughed, but her face was still expressionless, “Yes, nine out of ten women in the
company have been flirted by him, and Kevin’s name as every nightclub’s biggest client is not a joke.
All the nightclubs in Nanking will treat him as their financial backer.”

“Crack,” The egg in Alayna’s hand was crushed with bare hands, and her face was gloomy.

“Ahem.”

Hayden turned her head away, pretending not to see it.

“Stella, come out quickly. Mummy will take you to school after you eat your breakfast.”

In fact, Alayna and Kevin had been getting along for quite some time. From the fact that Alayna kept
mentioning Kevin when she returned from her last business trip, there was already some hints that
there was something special happening between them.

It was easy to fall in love, but it was not easy to treat it sensibility.

Hayden was reminding her that there were many traits in Kevin that she cannot accept, and she really
need be careful about it. If both of them could get over this, then they could really clear the gap
between them and be together.



It was the end of the month.

After dropping Stella off, Hayden rushed to ST Group headquarters to attend a meeting.

“Ms. Downey.”

In the lobby of the group, a male voice called her to a halt, Hayden turned around. When she saw the
person, she quickly went through the memories in her mind, then she recognized him as the producer
of that traveler show that Freddie had participated with Stella earlier.

“What a coincidence to meet you here, Stella’s mum.”

The producer was in his thirties and dressed casually. He looked at her with a broad smile, “I just talked
to the company before I came here, and I have something to discuss with you.”

“What is it?” Hayden didn’t understand what he meant.

“It’s about our previous travel show. We just cut out and broadcasted a trailer, the response was
incredibly good, so I applied from the boss to continue this show. Do you want to consider letting Stella
to sign a long-term contract with us?”

“Ah? Long-term?” Hayden immediately shook her head, “That won’t work. I still have to go to work and
I can’t let Stella to go alone.”

“That’s not a problem.” The producer looked very calm, “I know your working performance is very
excellent. If you’re willing, we can communicate with Mr. Beckham to let you resign and come to our
media company to work as your daughter’s manager. With that, you’ll have time to accompany her.”

current job.”

left.

“If you have considered about it thoroughly, you can contact me anytime. It’s common now for a mother
to become a manager for her daughter nowadays. I see that Stella has the potential to be a child star
from every aspect.”

Holding the business card in hand, Hayden was a bit helpless and did not know what to do. However,
her interactions with the producer were noticed by Joseph.
