Chapter 237: An Intense Game?

“Ms. Kidman, please stop.”

Magnus stood in front of the car door and rejected Viola politely with a hand gesture.

“There is something I need to tell Joseph…”

“Mr. Beckham is busy.” Magnus rejected diplomatically.

There were lots of people outside the hotel, Viola didn’t want to embarrass herself and she stepped
away.

The silver-grey limousine drove away without hesitation.

A man with a handsome suit behind Viola said, “I told you my cousin is a cold-hearted person, he cast
his mother out of the house only when he was thirteen, you are nothing but a temporary fake girlfriend
to him.”

“Shut up!” Viola said coldly, “You knew he was coming and arranged our meeting here?”

Franklin smiled, “Am I that good to you?”

“Stop flattering yourself, you are nothing compared to Joseph, you are what you are today because of
your dirty little tricks.”

Viola uttered those words bluntly in front of him.

Franklin’s face looked like he was scheming something. He smiled but turned back to normal very
quickly. “Open your eyes wide, ST Group under my command will progress even better than when
Joseph was the CEO. He'll be doomed when Harrison Beckham die.”

Hearing that, Viola stunned. “What are you up to?”



“Nothing, planning for my future.”

The leaves on the palm tree outside the hotel entrance rustle on that breezy night, Viola Kidman
shivered looking at the calm but cunning Franklin Hawkins.

Hayden went round and round at a bar street in Shanghai before she saw White Moon Hotel that
located behind a bar. She felt the weird glance from the receptionist soon as she stepped in. She went
upstairs and saw a room with the door opened and a cleaner cleaning inside.

Hayden swept a glance and her face turned green.

Under the purple-red light, there was a half life-size ‘fitness equipment' at the entrance along with some
used leather whips, candles and other accessories on the floor that had some unknown fluid on them.

A shiver crept down Hayden’s spine, there was a reason why this hotel was located in such a remote
place. The receptionist was covered with fancy makeup, looking at everyone with a pair of foxy eyes.

Samuel Shawn was from a wealthy family but with such weird interest?

Room 419 was nowhere to be found on the entire fourth floor, Hayden thought Samuel was fooling her
when the alarm at the hall was activated.

It was chaotic in the hotel, a few people that looked like managers rushed over.

“Something is up at the top floor, quick, quick, call the manager.”

“It’s serious, there is blood all over.”

“Call the police.”



“Police? We can’t call the police over, moron, call the security and ambulance.”

No one paid attention to Hayden amid the chaos, she had even put on a formal blazer before coming
here just to hide the dress underneath. She looked ordinary.

Hayden startled when she heard that someone was killed at the top floor.

Such an intense game? That took one’s life?

And yet, no one was calling the police?

While thinking, she took out her mobile and dialed 110. “Hello, police station? I’m at White Moon Hotel,
something happened here.”

“…”

“Yes, yes, please come at once, and bring the ambulance along.”

After the call, Hayden went upstairs on her own after making sure there was no one around. She
wanted to take some photographs as evidence for the police.

It was obvious that this was not a hotel but a brothel, using the name of a hotel but ran prostitution
business behind, she couldn’t stand aside and watch.

The incident happened on the top floor, despite being located in a remote area, this hotel was not
small, there were fifteen floors and the incident happened in the last room of the corridor on the
fifteenth floor. People were already crowded at the door, most of them were employees except one
huge man in the middle.



He spoke with a thick Dongbei accent, “Holy Christ, you guys should stop the fight, not stand and
watch.”

“Who dares to get involved in the middle of this sir, we are waiting for the security guards.”

“What’s going on? I was about to sleep and heard all this noise. Why do they fight in a place like this?
They should sit and discuss.”

The door was crowded when Hayden arrived, she couldn’t see anything thus, she asked people
around, “Sir, what’s going on?”

Dongbei dude was friendly and glanced at Hayden with surprise.

“It seems like he slept with someone’s fiancé and he came to catch the act, why are you here, lady?”

Hayden shook her hands, “I’m here to meet someone, please don’t get it wrong.”

That dude smirked, “You don’t get it wrong too, it was late and I couldn't find any hotel, so I’m sleeping
a night here with my wife.”

What a coincidence to have found this remote place, what a genius.

Hayden lifted her lips, she stopped the chat and got her mobile ready in video shooting mode. She
stood on her toes trying to catch some scene.

“Ooh, you are too short lady, let me help you.”

The mobile in her hand was snatched away, she raised her head and saw that dude rushed into the
room for shooting.

The employees got all nervous, “Mister, photographing is not allowed here.”



“Oh, it’s not me, that lady wants to shoot, she’s short and can’t see anything.”

He said as if like it was nothing wrong and continued his shooting. None of the small-sized employees
dared to challenge the huge size dude and let him shoot.

Hayden was embarrassed, but this dude was indeed a genius.

The argument between the dude and employees created room for Hayden to looked at the situation
inside, the floor was a mess and the equipment were all over the place, with lots of broken lamps and
lights.

Through the thin layers of the purple veils, a man was seen hitting another man on the bed. The sound
of fists landed onto the flesh sounded frightening.

Hayden froze when she took a closer look at the man, she thought it was familiar.

Oh no! It was…

“Joseph.” She pushed the crowd aside and rushed in. Her face turned white when she pull opened the
veil and saw the man on the bed.

“It’s you?”

Joseph stunned hearing her voice and at this very moment, he got hit by the other man and fell from
the bed, the situation changed in a blink of an eye.

Samuel turned over, grabbed the lamp beside the bed and hit Joseph’s head.

“Take this! I'll kill you!”
