Joseph questioned him, “Why didn’t ST Group adopt an assistance strategy for the company at that

Five years ago, Joseph was not the head of ST Group. Harrison was a bit worried about Joseph

Joseph’s cousin, Franklin had the other half of the power to manage the company.

The hotel development project in the South China Sea Resort was a decisive game between the two of
them, and it took Joseph two years to win. Franklin who was the loser packed up and left ST Group. At

Magnus on the other end of the phone said meaningfully, “It was said that the manager of SY Clothing
at that time was Franklin’s lover. The two of them had a complicated relationship, and thus the

After finishing his words, Joseph entered the clinic without looking back.

The swarthy man stood at the entrance of the clinic. His figure and the white walls of the clinic formed a

After treating the wounds, Hayden fell asleep for two hours. When she woke up, she was almost numb

“You still feel pain, right?”

Joseph held her hand with a distressed look on his face, “The doctor said you’re not fit to travel for a

night and go to the hospital in the city tomorrow morning.”

Hayden's voice was a little hoarse, probably because of the excessive screaming earlier.

It took half a day for her to find her voice, “I’m hungry.”

Joseph who had a serious expression initially was stunned and he got up hurriedly, “I’ll help you to buy
some food.”

“No need.”

Hayden blinked her eyes at the man behind him, “Mr. Bruke, you’re here to bring me food, right?”

Joseph turned around and indeed saw Dante standing right at the entrance of the ward, carrying a
simple wooden food box in his hand. He could vaguely smell the aroma of fish.

When he saw Dante, he felt angry and his face immediately turned gloomy.

“Who asked you to come here? Take the stuff away.”



“Give it to me, is it fish congee?”

Joseph’s face was pale and he was very embarrassed when he heard these words from Hayden who
was on the bed.

Hayden was making him ashamed and she even struggled to wave at Dante enthusiastically. She tried
to sit up from the bed, but this made her wound pulled and she grimaced again.

Dante quickly walked into the room, looking like he was at a loss for words.

“Don’t move.”

Joseph held Hayden’s shoulders to prevent her from moving around. He turned his head to glare at
Dante warningly. “Just stand there and don’t move. Give me the stuff.”

“What are you doing? Mr. Bruke is kindly coming to bring me food.”

Hayden endured the pain and forced a smile at Dante that looked uglier than what she would look
when she cried.

“Mr. Bruke, thank you.”

Dante held the food box with one hand and scratched his head with the other, “No, I’m the one who
should say sorry. I want to apologize to you.”

Without waiting for Hayden to reply, Joseph extended his hand with a cold face, “No need to say
nonsense. Just give me the stuff.”

If Hayden hadn’t wanted to eat a bite of fish congee all the way when they came, he really wouldn’t
have wanted to touch anything from the psychopath.



However, as if Hayden had seized the opportunity, she fiercely pinched Joseph’s arm and looked at
Dante with a smile.

“Mr. Bruke, sit down. It’s not a big deal. You don’t need to take it to heart. You didn’t mean to do it. I’m
just quite curious that what was it that you were so angry about before.”

stand.

Hayden’s mouth.

“I will tell you while you eat.”

Joseph didn’t quite like her look of being interested in everything else. She was curious about
everything, but she only ignored him who was in front of her.
