Chapter 259: Who’s Pining after You!

“It’s just my guess.”

Benjamin spoke seriously, “I think it is very possible.”

Joseph was famous for not being close to women in Nanking. However, Viola had been by his side for
five or six years. Besides the fact that she knew how to behave and was very smart, there must be

back to rest first. If I stay here any longer, I’m afraid that someone is going to bang on the door
outside.”

Hayden was stunned for a moment. She did not understand what he was talking about.



“Okay, then you go back first.”

After Benjamin left, Hayden kept sitting in her room thinking about this matter.

If Viola was really colluding with Franklin, then was she sincere or fake towards Franklin? How much
she had contributed to the return of Franklin to ST Group this time.

As she thought about it, she did not notice a figure walking into her room.

Only after she heard the soft sound of the closing of the door did she regain her consciousness and
look back nervously. She saw Joseph already standing in the bedroom. He was wearing a new fancy
shirt and beige casual trousers. His hair was still wet and his body smelled like jasmine shower gel.

Without waiting for Hayden to speak, he opened his mouth first.

“I can’t find the hairdryer.”

“Okay,” Hayden froze for a moment, “The hairdryer is at my bedside. I’ll get it for you later.”

“No need. I’ll help you to take it. You can sit down.”

With that, Joseph walked to the bedside.

As he passed through Hayden, there was a breeze and the fragrance of jasmine flowers became even
stronger.

Hayden didn’t realize what he was doing for a moment.

Why did he close the door to get the hairdryer here?

“The hairdryer is in the top drawer.” Hayden reminded him.



Joseph sat at the bedside and smoothly pulled open the drawer. He did not rush to take out the
hairdryer but looked at the drawer for a long time without moving.

“What’s wrong? Isn’t the hairdryer inside?”

The bedside lamp shone on a corner of the drawer. Hayden walked to the bedside and saw an
unsealed blue box in the drawer, she was very embarrassed as she flushed…

The word “Okamoto” was clearly written on the blue rectangular box.

Damn, why didn’t she throw it away earlier?

Joseph looked up at her calmly, “This is the one we didn’t use up before?”

What kind of question was that?

Hayden smiled while displaying a cold expression, “Or else what would it be? What do you mean?”

Did you think that I’ve used this with other men since I broke up with you?

Joseph stopped displaying a puzzled look, “I didn’t mean that. I remembered that I could use up a box
every time before. Therefore, I thought it wasn’t used by me.”

Hayden’s face blushed and it was as red as the liver of the pig. She took out the hairdryer from the
drawer in a hurry, saying incoherently, “Can you stop talking now. Take the hairdryer and get out of
here.”

The more anxious she was, the more mistakes she made.

The “Okamoto” box was taken out of the drawer and dropped on the floor with a “thud” sound after the
cord of the hairdryer tugged on the box.



Hayden’s expression had changed a bit as she didn’t know whether she should pick the box up or not.

She sized Joseph up from the corner of her eye. She somehow recalled the sweet kiss at the entrance
of the supermarket. Her heart suddenly felt inexplicably itchy as if it was crawled by a thousand ants.

How can this man come back without a blush on his face after kissing her for about ten minutes and
still come to her bedroom to ask her for a hairdryer? How could he still be so calm when he saw the
condoms he didn’t use up before?

What was wrong with him?

Compared to Hayden who was nervous, Joseph was extremely calm. He bent down and picked up the
“Okamoto” box and then handed it to Hayden while holding out his other hand.

“What are you doing?”

Hayden walked a step backwards as if she was facing a big enemy.

Joseph’s expression was calm as he said a simple and concise sentence, “Give me the hairdryer.”

The room became tense for a few seconds. Hayden who was very embarrassed quickly threw the
hairdryer to him.

“And this.” Joseph took the “Okamoto” box and handed it to her persistently as if he was teasing her
deliberately, “This is yours.”

At this moment, Hayden felt that it was really a miracle that she didn’t go crazy.

She initially tried to suppress her anger to take the box from him. However, at the moment her
fingertips were about to touch the box, she suddenly lost her temper and grabbed it quickly. She
slammed it hard at Joseph.



“Is it funny to play with me like this? Are you crazy?”

been holding for the past few days. She was shivering with anger, “You play the victim and ask me to
go to your house to cook dinner for Noah. Okay. I went for the sake of the child, and you were showing

Joseph looked at her. His cold eyebrows tinged with disagreement but he did not say anything to deny
her statement.

Hayden then assumed that he had acquiesced in her statement. She became even more furious. She
directly took a pillow aside and slammed it at him randomly, “You are a perverted psychopath. Get out
of here…”

The pillow and quilt hit Joseph’s body lightly and he didn’t feel pain.

After throwing all the things around her at Joseph, Hayden was panting as she was exhausted. Her
hand was shivering as she pointed at Joseph.

“So do you mean that you’re still pining after me?”

Joseph messed up the pillows and blankets and still sat on the edge of the bed, looking at Hayden
seriously as if he was not affected seeing her angry. Hayden felt disgusted seeing his sensible and
calm look.

“No!”



She denied loudly, “Whoever pining after you is a fool.”

“Then, what are you doing now?”

Joseph asked her.

Hayden was still wearing the same casual shirt she had worn when she went out just now. She was
wearing the culottes and a light blue bat sleeve jumper. Half of her shoulders were bare as she was too
excited. She kept panting and her breasts heaved with it.

What was she doing now if she wasn’t pining after him and overly concerned about what he said or did
to her?

After deceiving herself for a long time, she really thought that she was sensible enough. However, she
did not expect people around her to notice her misbehavior clearly.
