Chapter 346 Do You Have Twenty Million?

Hayden’s coquetry was indeed useful. Her voice was attractive and even she blinked as she spoke.

“You make a hard choice for me.”

Joseph felt his body tight. The flame arose in his eyes, and even his throat became hoarse, “What did
you call me? Again.”

“Promise me first to go back to your home and stay there for some days.”

“OK.” Joseph agreed quickly.

The great mind always knew the real situation. To let her call him husband again, Joseph chose to give
in.

He thought it was enough, but actually Hayden needed more.

“I want some ice cream.”

“Now?”

“Yes, my dear husband, please buy it for me.” Hayden blinked again.

Joseph couldn’t stand this. All he wanted now was to subdue this coquettish fairy.

“Buy ice cream for me. I’ll take a bath and wait for you back.”

The scene of Hayden’s attractive body after the bath came into Joseph’s mind. He didn’t speak
anything, but turned around and went to the gate.

“Wait for me.”



Hayden grinned as she looked at Joseph’s back. After Joseph left, she changed the password of the
door, then sent a message to him, and powered her phone off.

My dear husband, you can’t go back tonight, she thought.

She had to pack up her luggage this night, because she decided to go to Lanxi Town the next morning.
To get rid of Joseph was her first task.

Just as Joseph went out of the building, he had received the message.

“Dear husband, we should live apart before the wedding, from tonight. I’ve changed the password in
case that you change your mind. Please go back to your home. Love you, my dear husband.”

The chilly wind awoke Joseph. His hot desire had been extinguished by the message.

He began to realize that it would be nothing good every time Hayden called him husband. However,
every time he had been trapped by such obvious plans.

Joseph sighed in the chilly wind, and then went to the garage.

Always, he had to listen to his dear wife.

Hayden drove to Lanxi Town the next morning.

When she got to the inn, she saw the receptionist, Lily, taking out a bag of broken glasses.

Hayden walked forward. Lily found her and hurriedly came over.

“Hey, you’re Ms. Downey, right?”

Hayden nodded, and asked, “Why are there so many broken glasses? Something being smashed?”



Talking about this, Lily’s face turned gloomy, “Everything is smashed inside.”

Hayden was confused, “What happened?”

Lily led her in, and Hayden found there was no glass on the glass door and window. The inn was also
in chaos inside. The busy public area was empty.

“Three days ago, some bandit guys came here and smashed the inn. They also took Benjamin away.”

“What?” Hayden’s face changed. “Did you call the police?”

“No.” Lily shook her head and explained in a low voice, “Our boss didn’t allow us to call the police. She
asked me to take a holiday after I clean up the mess, but I’m worried. Does Benjamin offend some
powerful forces outside? They even smashed the inn. I think they must have something on Benjamin.”

“Where is the boss?” Hayden looked at the stairs, “Is she on the second floor?”

“Yes.”

“Fine, I’m gonna see her.”

Then Hayden went upstairs to find Rebekah.

Rebekah even refused to call the police when her son was taken away. There must be something
terrible that those bandits had caught.”

Rebekah was cleaning up her room. She put all the jewelry on the desk. She wore a simple dress, and
her eyes were with tears. She was stunned as she saw Hayden. Then she hurriedly wiped her tears
away.

“Why are you coming here?”



“What happened?” Hayden went straight to the point, “Who took Benjamin away?”

Rebekah frowned, and answered with a hoarse voice, “Don’t ask. It has nothing to do with you. You
have the wedding with Joseph, don’t you? Go back quickly.”

“You’re Joseph’s mother, and Benjamin is Joseph’s brother. Do you think I can go back now after I
know this?”

Rebekah was good-tempered, but stubborn sometimes. She kept silent after Hayden said that, as if
she wanted to force Hayden to leave with such a method.

“Mrs. Beckham.” Hayden calmed down and tried to persuade Rebekah, “I don’t ask more, but you
should tell me what I can do. I will do everything I can to help Benjamin. He’s also my brother soon.”

Rebekah finally raised her head, and couldn’t help sobbing as she looked at Hayden.

After a long time, she spoke, “Can you lend me some money? You can take the inn as pawn. I will pay
the money back in the future, but now I really need money.”

Hearing this, Hayden breathed a sigh of relief, “Fortunately, money can deal with the trouble. Don’t
worry. How much do you need? I’ll get the money.”

Rebekah gritted her teeth. She felt it hard to speak.

Soon she said with her gritted teeth, “He asked me for twenty million, but I only have one million. It’s
late to sell the inn now.”

It was also a big number for Hayden. She frowned and pinched her palm with her nails, to force her not
to ask more.

Then she nodded, “OK, I’m gonna get the money. Don’t worry.”



Hayden had no enough money, but Joseph had. She believed Joseph would help Benjamin at such a
critical moment.

She knew Rebekah didn’t want to get involved with Joseph, so she turned back and went downstairs to
call Joseph.

“Joseph, I have something to talk. Are you free?”

“Well, say it.”

“Do you have twenty million now?”

Joseph was stunned, and then he said, “I have.”

Hayden was relieved, “I’m gonna tell you something. I’m at Maple Sugar Inn in Lanxi Town. Oh, it’s just
Benjamin’s inn. He got trouble now, so I need the money to help him. Can you help me?”

There was silence for a while, and then the strict question.

“So you kicked me away in order to go there last night, huh?”

“Well, that’s not important. Help me first, OK?”

After a long pause again, Joseph replied in a cold voice, “Magnus will come to find you back tonight.
Leave away from their troubles. It’s none of our business.”
