Chapter 39: Do You Want to Consider My Mommy

“Sir, this matter should have nothing to do with Ms. Kidman”

The butler frowned with a face as he was put in a difficult situation.

“Nothing to do with her? Harrison’s eyebrow furrowed, “How are you sure about it?”

“When Little Noah had the accident, Ms. Kidman was in the young master’s room,” the butler bit the
bullet and explained, “A maid accidentally went in and saw that the two of them were on the bed.”

Hearing this, Harrison’s face turned blue. His fist came down on the rosewood table with a loud bang
and he said coldly.

“Shameless.”

He had always disliked Viola. He did not need to think about the other aspect. The gossips about her
these years had become more and more from time to time.

In addition to the fact that after Joseph brought her back six years ago, Harrison had asked someone to
investigate Viola’s background. She was initially a waitress recommending drinks in a nightclub but she

uncle, not your brother. So, you can’t marry him in the future and he can’t wait for you that long.”

“No, Freddie said he would wait for me to grow up.”

“He was just lying to you.” Hayden rolled her eyes at Stella, “I can’t believe you believe such words.”

“I don’t care. Anyway, Freddie is mine.”

“Okay, okay, he’s yours.”

Hayden was lazy to argue with her about this matter. She was just using Freddie as an excuse to divert
Stella’s attention from Joseph, “By the way, Freddie called me two days ago, saying that he would
come back to hold a concert not long after. Do you want to attend?”

“Of course!”

Stella’s face was full of excitement, “Freddie is going to come back!”



“Not yet, but he’ll come back very soon. If you want to attend, behave obediently then.”

Hayden lowered her body, patted Stella’s shoulder and spoke with a slightly threatening tone, “If you
think about more nonsenses, I won’t bring you to the concert.”

“No!” Stella apparently faced an enemy.

“Then, go to take a shower now and hit the sack.”

After Freddie was used as the trump card, Stella obeyed the instructions like a soldier. She did not dare
to mention Joseph’s matter again before she hit the sack.

After running around for a day, Hayden also slept like a log.

The weather the next day was good.

Hayden went to the market early in the morning to buy things. After she came back, she cooked the
food and brought Stella to the hospital. After thinking about it, she went back and took the revised script
of project planning together to the hospital.

“I’ve made black-bone chicken soup today. You can’t keep drinking fish soup as you’ll be sick of it.
Change the flavour, black-bone chicken soup is also quite nutritious.”

After Hayden opened the lid of the thermal insulation lunch box, the nice smell of the chicken soup
filled the whole ward. She first handed a bowl of chicken soup to Stella and only then served a bowl
and fed Noah.

Joseph was sitting aside and eating rice. He kept taking a glance at the thermal insulation lunch box
that contained the chicken soup.



He did not know whether Hayden had forgotten or just that she totally did not intend to let him have the
soup as she still did not do anything even after a long time.

of the chicken smell was really nice.

Stella noticed it quickly and immediately handed her spoon to Joseph’s mouth, “Mister, the soup made
by my mommy is extremely delicious, have a try.”

After drinking it, he had a complex expression. The chicken soup was so delicious. It was completely
beyond his expectation.

This woman was really good at cooking.

“Does it taste good? Mister?” Stella was looking forward to hearing his response.

“Yes.”

Stella hurriedly called Hayden.

“Mommy, Mister says it tastes good, you quickly serve Mister a bowl.”

Now only Hayden remembered she had not served a bowl for Joseph.

She secretly thought in her mind. He was already an adult. Didn’t he have hands? He surprisingly still
needed others to help him.



While drinking soup, Joseph looked at Hayden, “You’re really good at cooking. Is it that you have
secretly learnt it from the hotel chef?”

“I’m in a favourable position so it’s normal that I can enjoy the benefit of a favourable position, how can
you call it ‘secretly learnt’.” Hayden looked calm, “I’ll meet many chefs as I work in the hotel. The secret
recipes won’t be easily learnt by others, so I’m indeed capable as I can learn some of them.”

Joseph did not say anything.

“By the way, Mr. Beckham, I’ve modified the project planning according to the advice you gave me last
time, please help me to take a look at it.”

Hayden put down the bowl of soup, took out the project planning from her bag and handed it to Joseph.

Joseph was interrupted before he finished eating. Although he was a little reluctant, he was a boss so
he could not discourage the enthusiasm of his employee. Therefore, he stopped eating, took the
project planning and looked at it carefully.

There was a nice smell of chicken soup from near the project planning. Even Joseph also could not
fully concentrate at that moment. He closed it after reading it for a while.

“There isn’t any big problem. Leave it like this first. I’ll give you a specific opinion when you go to the
headquarters to attend the meeting on Monday. I’ll ask others’ opinions first by that time.”

you to serve another bowl.”

When Joseph heard this while drinking soup, his eyebrows twitched.

After Hayden left at noon, Stella was clingy to Joseph and she continuously asked questions.

“Mister, my mommy is not bad, right? She’s good at cooking and she knows how to take good care of
people. Noah also likes my mommy. You can’t find a second like my mommy in the world. She’s much
better than the superstar, right?”

Joseph smiled helplessly, “Yeah, your mommy is quite good.”

In a kid’s view, it was definite that there was nobody better than her own mommy. This was
understandable.

Stella, however, obviously did not mean this. When she heard him saying ‘good’, her eyes instantly lit
up.

“Mister, then do you want to consider my mommy to be your wife?”
