Chapter 282 Imperfect Alternate

What Kiera said was like a thunderbolt out of a clear sky hit on Michelle.

She didn’t believe her, mumbling,“That’s impossible...”

Michelle had been together with Kingsley for six years. She knew exactly what kind of character he
was. He indeed flirted with other women outside, but he would never get them pregnant. On the one
hand, he had a very strict tutor and the West family would never accept any illegitimate child; On the
other hand, Michelle knew that his heart would never be carried away by the women outside.

"Impossible!" She staggered to get up from the ground and tried to grab Kiera.

“Nothing is impossible.”

Kingsley stopped her from hurting Kiera and said, "She's right. She is carrying my child and I want to
take her to my family."

Michelle heard a lot of cruel words from Kingsley before, but what he said just now were that she

Michelle to believe.



When she looked up, she saw the woman standing behind him who was thin and small and had not a
full figure, but her face was much younger than Michelle. Michelle couldn't help comparing this woman
with herself. However, when she saw her eyes, she suddenly understood why her husband liked this
woman.

Michelle suddenly laughed.

Kingsley didn’t understand why she laughed. He frowned and asked, “What are you laughing at?”

Michelle pointed at the woman behind him, laughing out loud and said, “Do you really have a crush on
her? Or are you just too obsessed with who you couldn't approach, so even a imperfect alternate can
be a comfort for you?”

“Who do you mean by imperfect alternate?” Kiera didn’t know what Michelle was talking about.

Kingsley understood what she meant. With his eyes became colder, he said, "Michelle, I warn you to
shut up."

“I can talk whatever I like. How come you are afraid of my talk since you have already cheated on me?”

Michelle held the marble washing table with a twisted smile.

"What now? It was you that betrayed Hayden before. Why do you find a woman who looks like her and
pretend to be still deeply in love with Hayden? "

“Enough.” Kingsley said, with his face becoming livid.

“Who’s Hayden?” Kiera felt confused about their conversation.

“Hayden?” Michelle kept laughing and said, “She is a...”

Pat! A slap loudly and fiercely fell on Michelle's face. Her whole body tilted down and fell to the ground.



Kingsley said callously, “You don’t deserve to mention her name. If you still want to be Mrs. West, you’d
better shut up.”

After finish his words, he left without mercy.

Although Kiera was still confused, she didn’t want to stay with Michelle here alone. She stepped
forwards to follow Kingsley.

“Kingsley, wait for me!”

Then Michelle was the only one left in the rest room. She was sitting on the floor in a mess, covering
half of her red cheek with her hand shaking. She had made so much effort for so long, but she still
couldn't compare with Hayden in Kingsley's heart? Michelle still couldn't believe it.

In the banquet hall, Hayden was chatting with the people of the trade fair. After hearing somebody
calling Kingsley's name, she looked back and saw from a distance that Kingsley was coming down
from the second floor with a displeased face. Behind him, the little anchorwoman was chasing him with
her hand carrying her dress.

Hayden knitted her brows. Before she withdrew her eyes from Kingsley, he saw her. And they looked at
each other in the eyes.

He immediately stopped his steps.

He and Hayden hadn't seen each other for half a year, but he had heard a lot about her during this
time. After leaving him, her lived more wonderfully. Hayden was the first position in his heart in those
independent and confident women he had met and always his favorite woman.

They stared at each other for just a few seconds. Hayden nodded slightly as a greeting and turned to
talk to the people around her.



Kingsley felt a little dazed in his head. In the meanwhile, Kiera held his arms, "Kingsley, don't be angry.
I'm sorry for the things just now. To compensate you, how about going to my place tonight?"

Suddenly, Kingsley felt awkward and pulled her hands out of his arm, "I want to stay alone for a while.
Don't follow me." After that, he went down stairs by himself.

Hayden greeted some friends one by one until she felt a little drunk and wanted to find a place to rest.
After looking around, she didn't see Joseph. She guessed that he went to the rest room, so she put
down her glass and decided to stand in a conspicuous place to wait for him.

While she was looking down to the watch, a piece of pink gauze dress came into her view. Before she
looked up, she heard the voice said, "Hayden, long time no see."

She looked up and saw Michelle's right face which was a little red and swollen. Thinking of the rumors
about her and Kingsley, Hayden frowned and looked at her sympathetically, “Long time no see. Are you
okay?”

“I’m fine.” Michelle’s expression became grim. She asked, “What do you mean?”

“Nothing.”

Hayden took back her sympathetic eyes. Thinking of her status, her sympathize with Michelle now
might be misunderstood as mockery.

Michelle stared at her from head to foot, looking very unhappy.

Hayden felt uncomfortable being stared by her like this. She knitted her brows more deeply and asked,
“What are you looking at?”



“I wonder how that unknown anchorwoman looks like you. Don’t you know? Kingsley is dating an
anchorwoman who resembled you.”

Michelle seemed to be waiting for Hayden’s response, but she didn’t look surprised. Hayden looked at
her calmly and said, “Michelle, why are you telling me these? If you really want to live a happy life with
Kingsley, then none of these is my business.”

“You are telling me it is all my fault with all my marriage problem?”

"I didn't say that." Hayden felt that Michelle was not so clever to understand her words.

“But that’s what you mean.” Michelle sneered with her eyes looking evil, “Don't be so self-righteous.
Those men around you had thought you were an unattainable goddess since when we were in school.
However, you were sold by your own sister and slept with four or five men at that day you losing your
virginity. Do they know?”

Hearing this, Hayden felt her head exploded.

And people here was gradually gathering around them.

What Hayden only saw was Michelle talking constantly. She said, “Chelsea deserved her death. She
even planned to get you raped by those gangsters. She should go to hell.”
